We came for one night and the initial hotel room had mold in the ceiling and dirty walls. I called the front desk. The staff was so helpful in changing our room which became a suite and more space for us. Will stay again in the future!!!!

This is my first time writing a review, and I'm simply commenting on the hotel room itself. The room was very old—this is by far the worst Wyndham property I’ve ever stayed at. The wallpaper was peeling, the shower curtain had holes, and even the bathtub coating was coming off. The door lock didn’t work well either. At night, I could clearly hear the humming noise from the outdoor AC unit, which made it hard to sleep. Overall, it felt more like a 2-star hotel and was definitely not worth the price. I probably won’t stay here again.

Our stay was for our grandson’s Bar Mitzvah And the room was comfortable and quiet. We hosted a wonderful brunch the following morning and it was delicious. Dorie, the catering manager, was spectacular. A great stay!

Older property, long hallways with dated designs. Older AC unit inside room was very noisy (it was extremely hot when I visited). Check-in staff seemed bored and said very little other than “the elevators are around there”

We came to CT for a 25th wedding anniversary and stayed at Wyndham Southbury for the weekend. It was clean, ate in the restaurant, food was good. It was quiet and everyone was friendly.

The property is aging and sorely needs renovation. The elevator is very slow. Housekeeping takes your used towels but doesn't leave clean ones. I had to call every day to get towels! Seedy crowd with trucks from local businesses parked in the lot and workers loitering. Doesn't feel safe. I would not stay there again. It's much too expensive for the poor condition of the property.
