NYLO Irving/Las Colinas

We thought the hotel was very nice, great staff, very clean, fun atmosphere. However the bedding itself was not great - there wasn't a fitted sheet which made the bed very uncomfortable.

Awesome place. really comfortable and fun. I would definitely stay here again

I stayed at NYLO/IRVING one night because I was interviewing nearby in the morning. The hotel had a nice feel to it. The room was quiet and comfortable and the amenities including the pool, bar, and lounge were outstanding.

Not a bad experience at all just different. Meals in the restaurant are fantastic

I only was able to stay 1 night, but thoroughly enjoyed the short time. After work, I checked in and happy to find that there was a very lively happy hour at the bar. Live music, good food and reasonably priced drinks. The waitress and the chef were extremely accommodating for my very limited diet and prepared something off menu to suit my needs. The room was small, but very nice. I didn't need a lot of room for my quick stay. Definitely would recommend this hotel to business travelers, or couples. Not sure if I would stay with my kids, but again, that wasn't the nature of my trip this time.

My overall stay there was excellent however they have them to credit my two deposits that was paid Buy credit card. It is not even pending on my account.

Here's some helpful hints about NYLO: 1) You have to specifically tell housekeeping or the front desk to clean your room every day, if you have the Do Not Disturb sign on your door in the early morning and take it off by 11am. Also note that the front desk doesn't have towels, so when housekeeping forgets to check your room after you've left, the front desk agent has to go on a hunt for them. Be prepared to wait while they do. It's like an Easter Egg hunt for them. 2) This is a big one. This place is packed with holiday parties and special events. So if you're booking, be prepared to see Irving Police in the lobby during these events. This also means the amount of drunk party guests who stay, the Irving Police who chase guests out of the front door who are suspected of stealing purses, and the best one -- the constant screaming, fighting, slamming of doors until 5:00 am. Security was called, but that didn't stop the guests from going floor to floor again looking for the fight they started. That was the real gem. Yay for no sleep!! So awesome!! 3) The rooms are lofts, with concrete floors, walls and ceilings - so EVERYTHING echoes. Helpful hint: keep the A/C on for white noise so you can try to sleep while muffling the sounds of cars, winds, drunk dudes throwing themselves against the hallway walls...or your neighbors coming out and screaming at them to knock it off. Wish that would have helped. I should have booked the Westin.

The hotel is really cute and trendy. I loved the decor and feel of the place. I was given a second floor room right above the courtyard. Apparently, there was an office Christmas party going on right outside my window. People were yelling and screaming until almost 2:00 in the morning. In the future, I would suggest NOT putting unsuspecting guests right above the parties.

Room was small, and the drinks are very pricy, other than that, nice hotel and great location.

Great hotel, modern, clean and near to the airport!... Breakfast is excellent!

Hotel, staff, and pool were great.. plenty of places to walk to to eat and drink on and off site..

The place was great very different than the usual but in a good way

So this is the second time that I have stayed here and both times were excellent. Both times I used a discount, but even without it, the price is still affordable. The hotel is pretty hip and serves some good beer.

Negative I like the concept of the hotel but there's not much to the rooms. Small beds and small room. No space to walk around in. Over payed for what you get in return. Positive side staff extremely helpful and went out of their way for us.

This hotel was great, the breakfast in the hotels restaurant is amazing! I recommend the southwestern omelette. It's really close to the airport and it's a reasonable commute to the Dallas and Fort Worth metropolitan areas.

Hotel was a great price for the accommodations. Everything was very modern and nicely designed. The rooms were on the smaller side but still very comfortable (it didn't spend too much time in the room as I was exploring Dallas). The pool was very nice could stand to be bigger but was not over crowded by any means. Very few children, which is a god send :). At night the lounge area really lights up and gets pretty busy. Overall a spectacular stay.

The hotel was so clean and very nice. The staff was very knowledgable and I will be going back.

This hotel was very comfortable, fun and different. Our room was a loft with either brick or concrete. The door to the bathroom was a barn sliding door. Also the shower was an overhead and had plenty of pressure. I would love to stay here again. The only drawback is that the location was off the beaten path.

The only negative was the man that checked is in Friday night the 16th of July. He was the least bit interested in us. Didn't acknowledge us for about 2 minutes when we walked up to him which we found rude. Didn't tell us anything about the hotel after he asked us if this was our first time being there. Which was rude

Hotel was great. Very modern. Great pool and hot tub area. Convenient to airport and restaurants. Room was TINY. Efficient layout but cramped.
