This was the worst LaQuinta I have ever stayed in. Room was decapitated and not really clean - and when I woke up in the morning there was a cockroach in the bathroom. I had an unexpected overnight layover so I got there really late and left at 430am - otherwise I would have left to find another hotel. The staff was fast and friendly and the proximity to the airport was good - but it was the 2nd worst hotel I've ever stayed in (the other was a Motel 6 under similar circumstances). This felt basically like a truck stop.

I didn't like that the property had an unpleasant smell of smoke and mildew when walking into the lobby. When driving up, there was an unsavory person pacing the parking lot along with a bunch of homeless people within walking distance, so I didn't feel safe or encouraged to stay at this property.

We have stayed at this property a few times. This time the property had changed. The lobby and hallway to the elevators smelled heavily of mold. The morning breakfast buffet that is usually nice had been raided by guests taking excessive plates of food back to rooms. So the food was gone an hour before breakfast was over. There was no staff member supervising the eating area. This is an affordable hotel near UT Southwestern if that is what your looking for. But be prepared for very little amenities.

After check in we had to return to fromt counter 2 times because key would not unlock our room. Ac just made the room muggy and sticky . There were stains on bed . We were tild there was a shuttle to airport but in the morning they said there was no driver. They did call an uber for us so we appreciate that. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
