This hotel is in the heart of downtown! There was plenty to do that was walking distance. AT&T Discovery District, Pegasus Park, Giant Eyeball, Main Street Garden are the just a few of the places we walked to. Plus a lot of options to eat & drink! The room was very clean & quiet. Staff was really nice & helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay as it was walking distance from my office
Great location
The first room we were given smelled like someone smoked pot in the room prior. It was nauseating. They switched our room and then all was good. However, our room neighbors were loud. One guy was banging on his door in the middle of the night to be let in his room. At some point it sounded like he was body slamming the door. Then there was constantly this young group walking up and down the hallway talking very loudly and screening at all hours of the night. I was woken up every couple of hours for my 7 am flight. Not fun.
The detail of the building was amazing, keeping the old architecture with the elevators and ceiling work.
Beautiful hotel. Restaurant only open 5-10pm. Parking was awful. Rooms were great.
Good
Beautiful hotel! Large sized room and bathroom. It was perfect for our trip with a toddler. It gave him plenty of room to play in the room. Off site parking garage was only a block or so away so not bad at all. Prices were reasonable for parking overnight. You are able to pull in front of the hotel and unload your bags and then go park - so no big deal at all. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a microwave in the room! Will definitely stay here again.
Not very often do you find a place where each hotel staff members are very warm and welcoming but even each shift change the entire staff were always helpful, friendly and kind.
You’d have a much better trip if you avoid this hotel. The rooms are very basic, considering what you’re paying. Even the TV service and wi-fi provided are spotty at best. The casting technology and in-room dining features on the TV didn’t even work. They also billed my account for things I didn’t order because “someone in the hotel had the same last name and first initial as me.” They made it right but it was a hassle. There are lots of better hotels to choose from in the area. I’d select one of those.
First of all i was told that i would be able to park at the hotel.but once i arrived i had to park 2 blocks away because they said that they do not offer parking.but came to find out i was given the wrong information
Our stay at the Cambria was great! Clean, gorgeous, quiet, but right in the heart of Dallas! So many places to walk to and only a few minutes from Deep Ellum. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed my stay at the Cambria:)
