Room was dirty. I checked in late and had to vacuum the room myself because I was told hotel was full. Service reps stated they could not give me a refund bc it was booked thru a third party. That is unheard off.

Inflexible and Unhelpful. Needed to check out a day early due to change in plans, and the desk clerk asked if I'd like a refund of the third night. I said yes, please. He then called the manager and after a few minutes he told me "their policy didn't allow refunds." I asked to see this policy in writing, and they told me it was stated in the rules online. This is not true--the rules and restrictions online say nothing about being required to pay for all original nights if early checkout is required. So a refund was offered, and then rescinded, and they referenced a non-existent restriction online and could not show me their own policy in writing, thus indicating they CAN give a refund, but don't WANT to. Avoid this hotel if at all possible, especially if your plans require flexibility.
When I arrived after booking my reservation through Orbitz, I noticed three or four people sitting in the lobby. I figured they were waiting on rides to pick them up. Much to my dismay, I found out they were all customers who got there before me who were STILL waiting to be given a key to their room because there rooms were not ready by 3:00 PM check-in. I, too, had to wait at least 30 minutes to get a key to my room, and I arrived at the hotel around 3:15 PM. There appeared to be only one housemaid for the entire motel! When I finally got into my room, it seemed nice. The shower was a joke though. Not much water pressure and the shower faucet looked very old and worn, and it leaked.

We enjoyed our stay. We just noticed that the motel is older and showing some signs of needing updated or remodeled.
The room was big and clean. There were plenty of towels and the bed was comfortable. We could park near the door and there was a nice grassy place to walk the dog. Check-in was very pleasant. The coffee was good. We missed having the room cleaned but know there was no choice because of covid. Same with breakfast but at least there was coffee. The pool was tiny and unheated. The hot tub was nice, though.
The front desk was disrespectful, room was good. Location is just next to highway so noise level was high.
It was very nice and comfortable.. but the only problem was that the water didn’t get hot. Other than that the stay was awesome!

We am sorry that you feel this was not handled properly, but it is clearly stated on your reservation when you are able to make changes to your reservation and that there will be fees if you leave early without proper warning. We had more than one staff stay home due to illness and that left us short handed, and for that we apologize.
