TV REMOTE BROKE STAFF DID GET IT TO CHANGE A CHANNEL BACK BROKEN. AIR CONDITIONER BROKE WE HAD TO HAVE IT LOWEST OR OFF THE THERMOSTAT SAID 15 AND 24 WOULD NOT CHANGE. SO WE HAD TO COOL ROOM THEN WAKE FREEZING TURN OFF THEN WHEN IT WOKE US HOT UP AGAIN TURN ON AGAIN. DOG ACROSS HALL WOKE US UP AT 5:00 AM WAS STILL BARKING WHEN WE CHECKED OUT. PROPERTY SHOULD WARN CLIENTS OF FEED LOTS AND AMMONIA SMELL. THE NEXT MORNING HAD SINUS ISSUES FROM AMMONIA SMELL AND STILL A DAY LATER.

Not a bad place to stay, but there were some cosmetic and functional issues. Bathroom door was hard to open all the way. It got hung up on the floor. Bathroom faucet was falling apart. TV quite working for some reason, but was fine in the morning. The grounds around the hotel were a mess. A lot of garbage, etc. but Dalhart is a pretty windy place so it’s probably difficult to keep clean. Staff was friendly.
