Pestana Curitiba

Great Location

Hotel has great location, walking distance from top dining, bars and shopping venues in the city. And next door to a good cigar shop with sidewalk seating for a stogie n a single malt. Staff is generally friendly n helpful, but do leave some change daily on top of the bed for the housekeeping staff as there seems to be a noticeable drop in the quality of iservice when you don't. :) This is supposedly one of the best hotels in Curitiba, but only by Brazilian standards...anywhere else, this would be a 3 star hotel.

Roochelle Corporate Hotel

Excellent city centre location

Enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable, no complaints. The staff are fantastic and very helpful, no problems with English translations, one went over and above his job to help me get to a concert on the other side of town and back. I would definitely stay here again.

Mercure Curitiba 7 de Setembro

Fine neighborhood location

Although there was a minor misunderstanding on the supposedly free breakfast (I was pretty sure I was entitled to it, but it might be an error of mine when reading the agent description of this rental. Whatever). Fact is that I was expecting a plain room and what I got was a suite with 2 TVs, fridge, microwave usw. Back to the breakfast subject I must say that it was well served (and the scrambled eggs were just delicious). The staff couldn't be more polite: indeed I felt like I was in a 4 or 5-star hotel due to it. Pillows were great and there were two more in the closet. Pity I had no time to make use of the SPA but anyhow I visited that area and it was neat as well. Bottom line is that I recommend this hotel to whoever likes to feel... pampered!
