Second time here and we had VIP check in and it was great. Our daily person taking care of us on the beach was awesome, shout out to Abril.

Great Staff. Very clean property. Will recommend to family and friends.

The resort is pretty nice like most in Cozumel but is aging and has issues like the others too. This was our ninth trip and we were hoping for a little but nicer resort since it was a little more expensive. The breakfast and lunch are better than most with dinner being average resort food. It was disappointing that no one waited on us the entire time we were there like other resorts on the island do. Our room had poor air and the roof of the shower caved in on us during our stay. They did give us an extra room to use but it was on a different floor and we traveled with two small children and going back and forth was impossible. The new room did seam to be a lot better but was very musty and my wife couldn't sleep in it. We were offered a free two night stay at the resort as compensation but my wife was not interested in staying there in the future. All in all I would say it's a nice place to stay if you can roll the dice and get a decent room and don't mind eating out for dinner. Unfortunately I felt like I spent more time at customer service than I did with my family.

Bad service!! Front desk not friendly, bad maids service, ant problem

Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. However, the snorkeling rental guy was very rude (on Melía hotel premises but independent contactor). He provided us with old weathered equipment, when we came back to complain that one of the masks had ripped when attempting to put it on he snapped. He said we would have to pay for the damaged mask. After several minutes of arguing with the man, I agreed to pay. He said it would be charged to my room. Fortunately, we had a chance to explain the issue to the hotel staff and they assured me that there would not be additional costs for the mask. Thanks Melía hotel for making it right!

my room view of the resort was the only thing I like!! The front desk staff was rude!!! My bathroom flooded every day and nothing was done to fix it!! The front desk staff was full aware if it!! My bed was fix every day but no clean sheets!! The food was awful!! My family and I ate out a couple of times!! The activities staff was awesome!! I will never stay here again!!

The swim up bar is amazing, as are the cabanas - which are pretty cheap to rent for the day. Room was very clean and had plenty of drinks in the fridge, which they kept refilled. Buffet was just average, but the snack bar was quite good for just having a few items! Wings were amazing! Santos is a fantastic bartender and deserves a shout out of his own! Would stay here again, but would also try other resorts that have more to do (shops, etc.).

We enjoyed how quiet and low key this resort was. We loved how large the beach was and was not crowded. We enjoyed snorkeling both in front of the resort and next door by the pier. The food options were limited which was disappointing. The restaurants where you needed a reservation had only 4 entree options and they didn’t change the entire week. The buffet did change but by the end of week it was too familiar. The room was clean and comfortable. We would recommend staying in premium ocean view rooms in the tower. The mini fridge had limited options but the staff was good at restocking water bottles and soft drinks daily. There were unpublished special dinners that we tried to attend and didn’t feel welcomed. We wish there were more outdoor eating opportunities other than the lunch cafe on the beach. Again, the menu only had a few options to choose from. We loved the island of Cozumel and how easy it was to fly into and get right to the resort. We had a great week and would probably return to the Melia. It is a good value for a beautiful property.

Small, and safe. Lots for kids to do and staff great. Activity staff would change up the scheduled activities at whim and when boss wasn’t there the activities were a lot less. Otherwise was great. Game room was closed again this yr for my grandkids week

Love the palm trees on the beach, and the hammocks.

Smaller resort that has all the amenities we wanted, including beautiful beaches, and friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again.

This made our 6th time at this resort in Cozumel. We really like it especially for the money, cant beat it. Staff is super amazing as well. Activities are great for the kids and if u have none the adult side and pool is awesome as well!! The shows at night have been better, but for an ISLAND they are pretty good... we would go back again for sure...

The variety of activities was great but would have liked to try archery. It was only scheduled once during our stay. The staff were all very good, friendly and helpful. We liked our complimentary upgrade, but had to change rooms in the middle of our stay due to issues with the air conditioning.

The beach is very clean. Several bar choices (swim up bar, beach bar, lobby bar) service was slow occasionally at the snack bar and lobby bar in the evening. Nightly and daily entertainment is a bit repetitive. Overall, the resort is well kept, big enough to not feel crowded but also very quaint compared to others.
