Bit out of tossa but in a stunning location love pool area very beautiful staff friendly food is very good lots of choices very fresh & hot room was ok we had 1 with no views but very clean towels changed very day

Hotel is perched at the top of hill, just away from the main drag. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff very friendly and always happy to help. Excellent pool facilities, separate pool for toddlers. Good bar and excellent food. Entertainment most nights. No need to go to the beach really, could hang out here no problem!

We stayed at the Neptuno 10 nights in June 16. We chose this hotel out from the reviews and it's position - slightly away from city center. It was our third visit to wonderful Tossa de Mar, so we knew the area of the hotel. It was a great experience to stay at Neptuno. All of the staff were very very kind and friendly - especially the waiters in the bar. Always a smile or a kind word. As in many other hotels you got the towels on the sunbed-thing from early morning. Even though the hotel has signs to prevent this - no one respect it. Well I did - the first 2 days🙃. But don't let that spoil your holiday - Tossa has some fine beaches and it's a beautiful town. Neptuno also has a nice garden, where you can relax - if you want a bit of peace from the pool. We asked for a room with seaview, which we got. So we had great views from our balcony - could even see the old town, the Vila Vella. Breakfast buffet was very good - and the waiters made fantastic mojitos. We would love to stay at Ght Neptuno again. And we are defenitely going back to wonderful Tossa again. Once you have been there - the place is in your heart forever.

Set up the top for the street is the lovely Neptuno hotel so lovely and quite spot the rooms are very nice we didn't have a view side spot pool area is great very clean lots of sun beds . food is OK love tossa

Booked this hotel through the Jet2 holidays at the beginning of September, 2017. Travelling from Glasgow direct. Booked dinner, bed and breakfast because the dinner was only an extra ÂŁ18 and although we fully intended to eat out it meant we had the choice to eat at the hotel if we so wished. The breakfast at the hotel was fair enough. The dinner at night ok, but we really couldn't complain as the price for the holiday was so reasonable. We were disappointed in our room when we arrived, a corner room facing the swimming pool. We spoke to a jet2 rep the following day and were immediately offered a room at the back of the hotel which was much brighter and quite peaceful with no noise or traffic. The hotel itself was spotless. The staff very nice and most helpful. The hotel is in need of modernization having only one socket in the room and the decor could be a little more up to date. On the whole however, I would definitely go back to this hotel if I were to visit Tossa De Mar as it was in an excellent location at the top of the old town. Also they had a barbecue night when the food was definitely better and there was more of a party atmosphere as it was held outside by the pool. Good fun. Very helpful and friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Very Good

Booked this hotel through a travel agent for a last minute get away . Never been to this part of Spain before and chose it because it did not seem to be the normal type of costa holiday. Flights were good from Glasgow and we were met at the local bus station by the porter/handyman who took our luggage (we had been advised on this ) up to the hotel as the coach could not get up the steep hill . Not as big a problem or issue as you might imagine . Reception was efficient and as we had pre ordered a small fridge and safety deposit box for the room no problems encountered . The room itself was spotless as was the small bathroom . The décor really needs updating and also the matresses. Rock hard, not my cup of tea. The hotel itself is quirky with all sorts of antique furniture and old pictures which lends it a nice atmosphere. The staff are excellent and everyone we encountered could not do enough for you . I could not see my favourite cocktail on the list but after I asked the barman for my requested drink he had a separate list under the counter and produced one of the best margarita's I have had yummy. We stayed on and b&b basis as we wanted to try out the restaurants in Tossa (some excellent ones ) . Buffett breakfast was the normal affair with lots of choices . Orange juice had a very strange taste though . The Neptuno as part of the larger group should improve the quality aspect on this as there were quite a few people commenting on this whilst we were there. The restaurant was very well run and the staff were always cleaning the tables ensuring no mess building up. I loved the location of the Hotel and with refurbishment of the bedrooms (I believe they have already started on some ground floor rooms) I would come back to this hotel for my next visit to Tossa de Mar.

We just stayed for one night, but the hotel is really excellent in every sense: really friendly stuff, beautiful decoration, comfortable rooms, nice views, great location, good buffet offering, nice swimming pool, ... Access by car is not so easy, but that's the worst I can say, my family and me had a great time!

This was our Honeymoon and first ever time going abroad, we chose Tossa as it was small and quaint spanish town, the hotel was very old time spanish looking decor that was beautiful much better than a modern plastic 5 minute put together posh hotel, The waiters and waitresses are lovely polite and speak very good english, nothing is to much trouble and the food was lovely a choice of food with their buffet style service and they also offer packed lunches to take on day trips, the view from our balcony was gorgeous it was of the town and see with the castle too, they have evening singers in to entertain and bits for kids too all the staff from reception, bar to housekeeping were so nice and friendly they couldn't have done anymore to make the stay any better it was perfect thank you.

We stayed at this hotel for a week B&B. The hotel is at the back of the older part of the town and is in a very quiet location. Our room was a good size and was cleaned every day, including Sunday, and the staff are very friendly. The bathroom was of a good size but dated and the shower attachment awkward. The food was of standard buffet variety with a reasonable choice although tea and coffee is a bit lacklustre. The location is v. good near to beach, old town and bus station. We were dropped off at the bus station on arrival as the streets are too narrow for the coaches. The hotel sent a van to pick up our luggage, and then take it to the bus station at the end of the stay. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

Second time we have stayed at this Hotel and we are still impressed by the level of service delivered. The staff were polite and friendly and the catering was first class with choices to accommodate even the most discerning tastes. The rooms were by no means luxurious but spotlessly clean and views from them are dependant on which side of the building you are situated. Something to bear in mind upon arrival. However, the levels and quality of the housekeeping was excellent with clean towels provided on a daily basis.. Each room has a balcony and we found privacy was compromised due to the close proximity to the next apartment and views from apartments opposite looking directly your room. Once again if you have an external facing room instead of a pool facing apartment your privacy isn't compromised. Something to consider if booking direct with the Hotel yourself. The décor of the building might not be to everyone's taste, with historic furniture pieces, paintings and even a suit of armour, however, this quirkiness adds to the atmosphere and the well maintained gardens surrounding the pool also have small surprises. The location of the hotel, set in the narrow streets on the edge of the historic old town is also appealing. However, this means that coaches have to drop guests off a short distance walk uphill and luggage transported by the Hotels mini bus. This is described in all the relevant literature and web sites, however people still unjustifiably complain. From now on we will definitely return to the Neptuno and its friendly staff again.
