Ants invaded my pill container first night Wanted an extra blanket never got it. Expedia advertised a hot tub that didnt exist. Pool was closed. One good thing was the river view....but the homeless camp interrupted the stillness.

Was looking for a cost friendly but safe place to stay with my kids for a sporting event. I chose Super 8 by Wyndham. I loved that it had a pool to entertain kids and breakfast bar. As soon as we get to the hotel, there is what looks like a broken down truck that is being lived in. The hotel is very outdated and not kept up. Our top sheet had a huge hole in it, the room furniture is outdated, the elevator wasn't working, the pool was closed for maintenance with a sign that was dated 2024. The morning breakfast bar looked clean. It had boxed cereals, yogurt and bagels to eat but that was it. We felt safe and didn't see any sketchy people. Building just isn't being kept up. The next day we checked into Comfort Inn a few miles away, for $30 extra dollars a night. Beautiful facility, pool, great breakfast, clean room and staff was exceptional. They had a really wonderful gym space as well. We had a 10/10 experience.

The walls need to be painted, they are smudged and showing wear. The caulking around the toilet and tub need a lot of attention. And, the mattress is in need of replacement. The location for the motel is great for getting around town easily. Staff was helpful and happy.

The hotel was inexpensive, and the facilities are quite old. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep everything clean, but some areas need renovation. For example, the bathrooms need new grout, and the edges where the toilet meets the floor are old and cracked. During my stay, I also saw a cockroach on the bathroom floor, which I believe came from under the toilet. The breakfast was continental—cereal, milk, bagels, and coffee—nothing impressive. However, for the price, it was acceptable. Out of the three employees I interacted with at the front desk, two were friendly, but one was not. He did not respond to my greetings or acknowledge my thanks for the service.

The staff was friendly, breakfast had a variety to choose from. The view of the river was great and access to walking trails. Cost within affordable range considering its by the waterfront and one of the very few hotels in the city. The cost should be reduced to the building being older and needing much repairs. Amenities could be improved, including there website, the pool and spa both were under repair and closed. The safety of the building is questionable, as they have trouble with break ins, the key fab locks to the building were broken this raised a high safety alert for my family.

Homeless around hotel and occasionally in hotel. Side door where key card required was broken to allow homeless into hotel. Pool still closed over a year by health department. Elevator not working and they put us on the 3rd floor by the elevators. Breakfast could hardly be called that. The room itself had a few issues, but overall was a good clean room.
Pool closed since 10/09/24 by health department, but they still advertise it as an amenity.

It's a run down motel and something I was not comfortable with was all the homeless around the place. Their breakfast is not very good, but it's nice of them to feed the homeless. Sorry, this is not a place for families
