Great experience. Room was clean and well located.Staff is friendly and helpful. We will stay there again!

I liked being in the inner court room. The fountain was a nice touch. I couldn't believe it had a seperate living room at this price. The staff had a genuine friendliness.

We traveled through 8 states on a recent road trip, staying at Best Westerns each night. This one was located in a less than ideal part of town, had a weird, ultra modern décor theme that did not work. The breakfast was edible but just not as nice as we experienced on the other nights. Layout of the room was awkward. Would not recommend.

The rooms all face an internal parking lot and have only high-up, narrow rectangular windows. A cement bunker. Somewhat depressing. Mattress was soft and sagged in the middle. Room tired and a bit grungy. Front desk staff, however, was very nice and polite and helpful.

We stayed here on our way to another city in Colorado. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and they even found the pillow I had left. Since we were staying there again on our way back, I got my pillow back.

This hotel was just what my family needed while driving back from a long trip. Room was clean and very spacious. The breakfast was good and fast. We would stay here again for our overnight stay on a roadd trip.

We found the room to be quite noisy because the doors open directly to the outside, plus there was a barking dog next door. Breakfast was okay. The room was acceptable though I thought it was overpriced.

Clean. Breakfast was better than most. The room was clean and mildly run down. The bathroom is quite small. Staff is friendly.

The circumstances as to why we needed to stay in this hotel for a week was a sad one and it was nice not to have to worry about the cleanliness of the room or having towels replaced, etc. The staff was friendly and pleasant and the location was perfect. Except for the inconsistency of the heater and the problem with the room keys having to be reprogrammed on a daily basis, everything was good.

We found this hotel to be a very quiet, clean, place to stay on our trip to see Mesa Verde. It was conveniently located near shops and restaurants and only about 15 minutes outside of the National Park. In fact, the next night we had already booked a night at the hotel inside Mesa Verde National Park and were very disappointed we hadn't stayed another night at this hotel instead! Do yourself a favor, skip staying in the park and stay here! Much cleaner and accommodating for travelers!

Stayed one night while visiting family member who works at Mesa Verde. Especially enjoyed the hot tub & friendly, helpful staff. The hot breakfast was a great start to our next day's travel.

Although this is an older Best Western, they done a good job updating the rooms. We had the 2 bedroom king suite and the price for this room was a total bargain! Very roomy and much less than the hotel we stayed in in Moab the 2 nights previous. Very clean, too. The hotel staff's friendliness was UNBEATABLE! Like they were genuinely happy that you were their guest. Next time we visit Mesa Verde we will definitely stay here again. :)

The room was great, plenty of space, great comfortable king-sized bed. Bathroom was big, well-stocked, great jaccuzi tub, and, NO exhaust fan - who does this??? There was a window behind the toilet which did open up, but not enough to remove the steam from the shower - not a good thing...biggest drawback of the entire room; otheriwse, beautiful, comfortable and well-stocked.

We had such a pleasant stay at the Turquoise Inn. It is extremely clean and well-cared for, even down to the lovely flowers everywhere. The breakfast was very good and included biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles and the standard continental breakfast items. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to Mesa Verde and shopping in Cortez. We had a suite which worked out nicely with teen-agers. Such a delightful stay and I will definitely stay at the Turquoise Inn again and again.

Easy to find. Clean room. Lots of good breakfast options.

This hotel is ideally situated for a stopping point for a visit to nearby Mesa Verde. It's very clean and neat and uniquely decorated. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and truly added to our visit. The only downside to this hotel was the WiFi. It was very weak and practically unusable. NOTE: this is an update to a previous review in which I accidentally rated the wrong hotel.

This motel has a great location, just off of I-70 and is reasonably priced. There was lots of remodeling going on while we were there and the jacuzzi wasn't available so a little negative there. Our biggest issue was with the WiFi. Each device you connect has to have it's own logon and password, kind of a bother, but oh, well. However, the WiFi must have been undersized because we couldn't use it until about 5:00 AM.

Motel was nice and clean. The breakfast was great. Rooms were updated with everything needed.

Stayed here while attending a workshop and stayed before in one of their courtyard suites (where I could let my dogs out safely) with an in-room jacuzzi which was great This was half the price and very nice. The breakfast is extensive but plastic and unhealthy!

Great central location for Mesa Verde National Park, Four Corners area and some indian casinos. If you plan on getting any hand made native american jewlery or other items, this is the place to get them. Many of the items are the same as you see in Santa Fe or Albuquerque at a third the price and they're making it right in front of you; no "made in China" here. They're happy to answer any questions, tell you how things are made, what they mean and who taught them. From Cortez it's a short drive to Durango (take in the train museum! They're not just sevicing the locamotives and cars, They're building them too!) The best drive is heading out of town north on route 145 to Telluride. After some local shopping (no national chains in this town; EVERYTHING is locally owned, and in most cases grown and/or produced) drive 30 minutes to the ice climbing capital of the US, Ouray, CO. aslo known as the Switzerland of the US. Have lunch at the Silver Nugget in the Historic Columbus Hotel on 740 Main St. Check my review on this restaurant on Lonely Planet.com. When you leave town head south on route 550 Silverton/Durango, and stop in Silverton at the "ode 100" gold mine to pan for gold at a working mine. When your done, continue south into Durango on what is considered to be one of the top ten most beautiful roads in the county. If you like mountain biking or river rafting/kayaking there's plenty to be had in either Durango or Cortez and the hotel has a large self-service laundry to handle all your dirty clothes. On this trip the two longest drives are between Cortez and Telluride, and Silverton and Durango; each of which are about an hour to an hour and a half long. Even Monument Valley and Arches National Park are only about two hours away, but in opposite ditections of Cortez. Try not to go to Monument Valley in the late spring because there can be sandstorms of biblical proportions with winds well over 60 mph. It's no fun you can't see 100 yards.
