We wanted a place outside of the city and this was perfect. The hotel is located in the hills overlooking Córdoba and is in a parklike setting. Installations are modern. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and not overpriced. We only stayed one night so had little contact with the people in the hotel. The grounds are quite large and filled with fountains, tennis courts, and playgrounds for the children. Breakfast is overpriced for what is offered. If you are not in the mood for a buffet you can have a light breakfast in the café.
This place is great! We got a ridiculously low rate (mid Sept) for such a nice place. For less than the price of a Motel 6 in the States we are in fabulous resort type, grand hotel. My wife and I feel like 1%'ers, lol.
Just outside Cordoba, reasonable prices, free parking, 2 swimming pools, good rooms with balcony, extensive breakfast menu, breakfast and dining on nice terrace under the palm trees. It's about 10-15 minutes drive to get to the city centre.
The hotel is only 10-15 mins drive away from city centre so it is a good choice if you are with a car. They offer free parking and it was not difficult to find a parking space even when we came back late. Apparently the hotel also offer a shuttle bus service in the morning and evening. The room is clean and basic. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is quite nice but sometimes they seem do not have enough tables to house all the guests. Perhaps it happened only in peak season or holidays. It was a pity that we did not have time to enjoy the swimming pool.
Everything is perfect until you go to bed. The wall is too thin!! You can hear everything from next door. I ended up sleeping in the bathroom. Yes, I grabbed everything slept in the bathroom. Why? I can hear the guy next door snoring like thunder. Nobody's fault, but the building itself.
Located in a beautiful setting in the hills just outside Córdoba, this place is perfect if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at a reasonable price. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and well maintained overall, with plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Bear in mind that there's no shopping within walking distance should you need anything, but parking is free, as is the daily bus into town. We thought the restaurant was a bit over-priced, and we saw a few dishes get sent back to be heated up, but our meals were fine. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds very comfortable and the view from the room was lovely. I'd definitely go back.
Check in started not ideal but mainly due to language & after that all went well with the guy in reception providing us with a city map, pointing out attractions & paip carosrks, but also an area of free parking in close proximity to city. The hotel is out of town in a country suburb on a lsrge portion if land with pools & a footbal facility including various fields. The room was comfortable & modern & smelled when we first entered but dissipated quickly. Able to get an early check in which was appreciated. No fridge in room, but had an air conditioner, free wifi & a large window that opened. Parking available but a bit of a walk. Hotel has a bar/cafateria opening onto large terrace, plus a restaurant which we ate breakfast in (€8.50). Breakfast had good variety; fresh fruit, cereals, danishes, toasts, hot box, cold cuts, juices & coffees. Nice location & although out of the city, not a big issue.
Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Córdoba, it's a little out of town so be prepared for a taxi or the free minibus to get into the centre. Views from the balcony are stunning, into a lush green valley, and is beautifully peaceful. Rooms are modern and well kept, and the hotel is very quiet. Staff are attentive and helpful and good in the restaurant is very good-very good portions so be careful what you order!! Would definitely stay here again
Although this property is set just outside of town and has a nice setting, the advertising says there is free parking [which is true] and a shuttle to and from Cordoba center. In fact, the shuttle is pictured in the advertising. We picked this location as we were driving and liked the idea of not having to park in the city itself and pay for parking. We arrived mid-afternoon having driven from Granada. We planning on taking the shuttle back to Cordoba to visit the Mezquita. We were advised by the not-particularly-friendly-frontdesk-manager that the shuttle only goes into town late morning and returns at 6 p.m. We ended up driving back to Cordoba and since it was late in the day, we found on the street parking for free. Had I known this property does not REALLY have a shuttle service, we would have booked a hotel actually in the town itself. The room was ordinary but very clean. On the plus side, the restaurant staff was very friendly and the food good. This was a Saturday night stay, so there were two huge and loud parties going on on the premises. The parking was packed, but we luckily did find a spot as someone was leaving as we were arriving. That was luck. I tend to be a reviewer who is forgiving; however, the manager's not out-going attitude and lack of shuttle service does not fare well for this property as the best place to stay in and around Cordoba.
We looked for hotel with free parking space, and we arrived in the best place we could ask for. The hotel located in a green neighborhood, we could hear the water steaming down in the valley And the view from the balcony was stunning! The room was large and pleasant, it was quiet and comfy. The bathroom was perfect and the man at the reception was kind and helpful. There are beautiful spots for sitting with a glass of wine: the salon, the entrance area and the room's balcony that faces the view. This hotel isn't good for people who care to stay in the center of town, since it is located in a northern neighborhood, about 15 min away from the center. Taxi solved that (between 10.5-13 Euros)
