Everything is perfect until you go to bed. The wall is too thin!! You can hear everything from next door. I ended up sleeping in the bathroom. Yes, I grabbed everything slept in the bathroom. Why? I can hear the guy next door snoring like thunder. Nobody's fault, but the building itself.
Located in a beautiful setting in the hills just outside Córdoba, this place is perfect if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at a reasonable price. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and well maintained overall, with plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Bear in mind that there's no shopping within walking distance should you need anything, but parking is free, as is the daily bus into town. We thought the restaurant was a bit over-priced, and we saw a few dishes get sent back to be heated up, but our meals were fine. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds very comfortable and the view from the room was lovely. I'd definitely go back.
Check in started not ideal but mainly due to language & after that all went well with the guy in reception providing us with a city map, pointing out attractions & paip carosrks, but also an area of free parking in close proximity to city. The hotel is out of town in a country suburb on a lsrge portion if land with pools & a footbal facility including various fields. The room was comfortable & modern & smelled when we first entered but dissipated quickly. Able to get an early check in which was appreciated. No fridge in room, but had an air conditioner, free wifi & a large window that opened. Parking available but a bit of a walk. Hotel has a bar/cafateria opening onto large terrace, plus a restaurant which we ate breakfast in (€8.50). Breakfast had good variety; fresh fruit, cereals, danishes, toasts, hot box, cold cuts, juices & coffees. Nice location & although out of the city, not a big issue.
Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Córdoba, it's a little out of town so be prepared for a taxi or the free minibus to get into the centre. Views from the balcony are stunning, into a lush green valley, and is beautifully peaceful. Rooms are modern and well kept, and the hotel is very quiet. Staff are attentive and helpful and good in the restaurant is very good-very good portions so be careful what you order!! Would definitely stay here again
Although this property is set just outside of town and has a nice setting, the advertising says there is free parking [which is true] and a shuttle to and from Cordoba center. In fact, the shuttle is pictured in the advertising. We picked this location as we were driving and liked the idea of not having to park in the city itself and pay for parking. We arrived mid-afternoon having driven from Granada. We planning on taking the shuttle back to Cordoba to visit the Mezquita. We were advised by the not-particularly-friendly-frontdesk-manager that the shuttle only goes into town late morning and returns at 6 p.m. We ended up driving back to Cordoba and since it was late in the day, we found on the street parking for free. Had I known this property does not REALLY have a shuttle service, we would have booked a hotel actually in the town itself. The room was ordinary but very clean. On the plus side, the restaurant staff was very friendly and the food good. This was a Saturday night stay, so there were two huge and loud parties going on on the premises. The parking was packed, but we luckily did find a spot as someone was leaving as we were arriving. That was luck. I tend to be a reviewer who is forgiving; however, the manager's not out-going attitude and lack of shuttle service does not fare well for this property as the best place to stay in and around Cordoba.
We looked for hotel with free parking space, and we arrived in the best place we could ask for. The hotel located in a green neighborhood, we could hear the water steaming down in the valley And the view from the balcony was stunning! The room was large and pleasant, it was quiet and comfy. The bathroom was perfect and the man at the reception was kind and helpful. There are beautiful spots for sitting with a glass of wine: the salon, the entrance area and the room's balcony that faces the view. This hotel isn't good for people who care to stay in the center of town, since it is located in a northern neighborhood, about 15 min away from the center. Taxi solved that (between 10.5-13 Euros)
We stayed only one night to visit the Mezquita and some other places. Perfect stay. Lovely room, view and breakfast was good. One night to visit the Mezquita. Perfect stay. One night to visit the Mezquita. Perfect stay.
I was worried of the distance of this hotel to the centro of town. However it was excellent because they had parking and very nice rooms with excellent showers and good wifi food and tv. They also offer a shuttle to the centre of town and back which proved to be a great option and it is free. The extra bed has a charge but was ok and we had two good nights. They offer breakfast buffet for 8.5 euros which is worth it and the food at the restaurant for dinner is ok for one time.
The setting is great, the quality of the room is ok but the noise was terrible as you hear literally everything happening in other rooms and the corridor. A footstep, television sounds, the shower from the room next door, the cars driving outside, and I mean not a little bit of sound but the sound that wakes you. I'm used to living in a city with its usual noises but this that's nothing compared to here. I definitely will never go back since for me this is a basic thing which should not reflect such a high rating.
We stayed for a week in August .It was very hot ( 40 degrees C) but the hotel had two lovely pools , a lovely terrace for dinner and pretty surroundings to come back to and relax after visiting the amazing local attractions. Our modern room was spotless with a large balcony, excellent air con and a lovely bathroom. Because it was so hot we would welcome a fridge to keep drinks cool . We had a car and popped down to stores to restock with drinks , snacks etc.A new Aldi is a 5 minute drive and a massive Carrefour and shopping mall were 10 minutes away. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle bus into the city but driving gave us more flexibility. Recommend booking a night visit to the Mezquita
