Rooms and beds were good and clean. Breakfast was very good, diner was also good. Friendly personel in the hotel. There is also a possibillity to have a lunch in the hotel. There was a group of visitors who make a lot of noise. Maybe the manager could do more about it.
A really good value for money place to stay. Try Cuatromanos for a nearby restaurant with excellent food. The hotel is within easy reach of the railway station and all the major tourist spots. Lots of places nearby for breakfast.
I was ther some 10 years ago. A new visit allows me to evaluate the hotel. It has been renewed and has a fresh apperance. Rooms are modern , bathrooms updated and the cafeteria has a good breakfast choice. Parkin is not easy but there is a public underground parking not far away. The hotel is within walking distance from the high speed train station. The main tourist atractions are also within walking diatance. Plenty of restaurants and bars around : Correct staff with good languages command.
The people at the front desk seemed very professional and everything went downhill from there. The room was quite small and you can't control the temperature in the room. The floor on the far side of the bed was not clean and I got dirt stuck to my feet. But the worst was yet to come. We could hear everyone in the hall, which is annoying enough, but when our neighbour checked in... it was TERRIBLE! You could hear every word spoken, without even trying. He had a cold and every snort or spit or cough was as if he were in your face. He woke my wife up when he had to pee in the night. I had to use the washroom and layed in bed afraid to get up for fear of waking the man next door and not being able to sleep again if he started coughing and clearing his throat again. It wasn't his fault he had a cold, it was the hotel's fault for not having any soundproofing. I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me what I had to pay them. The only reason this doesnt get a zero is that the beds were nice and the desk people were nice, but still offered us nothing for the worst night in a hotel ever. If you MUST stay here take ear plugs, a fan and don't plan on saying anything you don't want the world to know.
The staff are rude. The hotel is without any character - the only redeeming feature is the pool. However there is no service by the pool so you can't relax with a drink. If the brand for hotel is poor service without a smile - you have succeeded. They do not tidy rooms or replenish the very poor selection of toiletries- a comb and a bath Hat. The standard rooms are small. Very disappointing particularly as this was supposed to be a special treat for us. Don't stay here - find a hotel with a soul and much much nicer staff.
Stayed here for a few nights to explore Cordoba and nearby Seville and Ronda. It was really great for many reasons, with only two minor drawbacks: - Staff are really, really friendly and helpful, and speak good English. - Hotel is in a great location, only 10 mins walk from the railway station and the town centre (a little further to the Mezquita) - Room was immaculate and cleaned beautifully every day, no matter what time we stayed in bed till! We had one of the few rooms that have a private terrace with sunbeds and a little table - at an extra cost, but well worth it, to enjoy the hot Andalusian sun. NB: the other rooms, as far as I know, have a very small balcony that you can stand on but has no furniture, or no balcony at all. - Rooftop pool was lovely, and to my knowledge one of the few locations where you can have a decent sized pool in Cordoba city centre. - Poolside towels provided. The only drawbacks are: - Limited room with terraces - There are only about 6 sun-loungers round the pool, which means they're almost always taken. There is plenty of space for more, I don't know why they don't put out more! - Pigeons and their poop. They sometimes land on the rooftop next to the pool and poop, and also above our terrace and pooped onto that. They really need to fix this problem.
I was pleasantly surprised with this modern hotel which is located just the other side of the road from the old city. Though it's been rated a 3-star hotel, it could have easily been 4-star in my view. Everything was clean, and the rooms are quite modern-chic. Bathrooms were fresh and modern and shower pressure was good. Only thing is they don't have their own parking, so you have park across road at a cost of about €11 per day. The swimming pool and roof terrace come in useful for transfer days when you have some time to kill.
We stayed 3 nights during the June heatwave - 44 degrees - and hotel was excellent for us. Close enough to station and easy walk to see and experience beautiful Cordoba. Room was great, clean and had all we wanted. The pool on the room was very welcome too.
Nice hotel with rooftop swimming pool. There is free parking on the street. €3 breakfast in cafe downstairs. It takes around 20 minutes to walk to monzquita but it's a nice and safe district. We would recommend.
The hotel is a 5 min walk from the train station. Reaching the historical centre of Cordoba, where there's the Mesquita and the cobweb of narrow roads with souvenir shops and restaurants, is quite easy on foot....a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The hotel is basic, not luxurious, but does a pretty good job at comfort and cleanliness. There's a small pool and gym on the top floor. Breakfast is buffet style and is quite varied. Would recommend.
