We spent one night in this hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is well located just a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 20 minute walk to all the main tourist attractions. The hotel is bright, spacious and has a lovely rooftop pool and bar area. Staff were friendly and it is very good value for money

Sehr angenehmes hotel with parking in which you easily can drive and turn. 20 minutes walking to the Juderia area, no car needed Air conditioned very good and not noisy Nearby many coffe shops for breakfast

I decided to city jump in the province of Andalucía (Spain) as means of understanding/knowing Spain better than I did before. Cordoba and Seville, given their history that includes a multiple of cultures such as the Arab, the Roman and the Jewish cultures, were on the top of my list of cities to visit. I have previously reviewed my hotel of choice in Seville, so here comes a review of the hotel of my choice in Cordoba. I did not exactly use TripAdvisor this time around but I chanced on hotwire.com who do not tell the name of the hotel until you book. However, they tell the area in which the hotel lies and gives an indication of which chains of hotels that they provide. Obviously one would want a good hotel cheapest possible. After booking, it turned out to be Hotel Cordoba Center, and I did not regret at all. The hotel is only a 5 minutes’ walk from the high-speed rail station and there are many other hotels in this location. It has a friendly staff that help with anything you ask for and it has a gym and a swimming pool – very nice! The hotel is huge and reminds of the sizes of American hotels. The rooms are spacious and everything works the way they should. It is not in the middle of the city center where much happens, but the city center is only a 5 -10 minutes’ walk. If anything negative is to be said, the rooms are dark but that is a matter of taste. The hop on –hope off sightseeing bus stop is by the rail station, about 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Additionally, for those who would like a change from the very good Spanish wines to something else, there is a microbrewery next door – not common in Spain? I paid about 60 euros/dollars per night, which is very reasonable. This hotel is a good choice for anyone visiting Cordoba.

This is a business style hotel located close to the train station but also convenient for the historic old town. It was ideal for us since we travelled by train and stayed only one night in order to visit the historic town centre. The room was very spacious and clean, the rooftop pool and terrace were lovely and the reception area was nice too. Staff were helpful and courteous despite us turning up looking scruffy with rucksacs!

I spent two nights for business. Hotel was booked by our customer. Good location if you want to visit old town - convenient underground parking. Reception area is ok - outdated furniture. Rooms are big - bathroom is ok. Bedding is not so comfortable; did not sleep well. The worst part is the catering; terrible breakfast (the breakfast room looks like a canteen - very old and dull). Had some food on top floor (pool). Very poorly prepared salad. Service was ok. Only at breakfast I found personnel very unprofessional. Thank you, Sara

Good location with a big garage. Service is ok, not more. Standard room at courtyard. Pretty small. Mostly quiet. This hotel is of the type conference hotel. The pool and roof area is very nice. A really nice place to relax on. They have a bar up here.

The worst customer care we came across in Spain and annoying practices such as the €15 deposit for pool towels. Lovely pool area but they’ve forgotten the local climate so absolutely no shade in the pool in 34 degree sun in mid-September. Breakfast ok but nothing special and tables slow to be cleared. The biggest problem was a ceiling leak which soaked our clothes - the hotel failed to take responsibility and apologise, only gave us an alternative room in late evening when we demanded one and failed to offer any kind of refund. Expedia dealt with it professionally but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel and I usually take an optimistic view

We got stuck in Cordoba since we were not able to get a train out to Salamanca as originally planned so after a few minutes of panicking, we decided to just book the nearest hotel we found through Expedia. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station and we were pleasantly surprised on how big the room was, considering we paid 80 euros for 3 persons (with an extra bed). The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and we had a nice view of the park. Though not walking distance to the center of Cordoba, it was pretty easy to get around via taxi. If you have an early train to catch the next day (or arriving really late and need a place to rest), would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night on the top 6th floor. Friday night ok but Saturday night there was a wedding reception on the roof terrace. It appears our room was below the bar area. At midnight we'd had enough and I went to complain. Was informed this was going on until 3am !! .. then offered another room. We were not going to start moving rooms past midnight. In the morning I complained and was told since we'd been offered an alternative room this was sufficient. Eventually offered a small discount on the relatively high room price. I'm sorry but when I book a hotel room the minimum I expect is I can sleep without excessive noise. If you stay here make sure you do not stay on the 6th floor when they are having a roof reception. I'm a business owner and have stayed in many International hotels so know what to expect. Very disappointed and frankly not good enough.

Well located hotel with convenient onsite parking ($16 euros/day). Good size room and hotel amenities - gym is a bit small, but nice rooftop pool. Very good customer service and staff attentiveness. Definitely recommend.
