The room is spacious, super clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet is very plentiful. The train station can be reached in 10 minutes walking and the historical center in 20 minutes. Close by is also Palacio de Viana.
€54 for a standard room is a crazy price. Stayed here on many occasions and the hotel is perfect. Spotlessly clean, very helpful, courteous and knowledgable reception staff. A great location perfect for a little walk into the city or its proximity to AVE at the central station.
Stayed here on a tour. The hotel was OK, not the best, not the worst, close to the sights and across from a great area to do your evening stroll. Clean, comfortable. Loved the colorful exterior. Breakfast was OK.
Air conditioning and heating do not work normally so either heat or cold option controlled centrally. Hot in winter, cold in winter. Result an unbearably hot room in February. Room window broken and not closable. Bearing in mind the air-con this was somewhat beneficial. Higher than usual mini-bar prices. Drinks cabinet door difficult to close as not fitted correctly. Inadequate English TV channels provided though not unusual in Spain. Restaurant dinner options limited though offered extra options from the Cafe menu at higher prices. Good hotel but needs more attention to detail.
We stayed for 4 nights in this very comfortable hotel. It was clearly a place for business people although as tourists we were made most welcome. Not that far from the main attractions of Cordoba, well worth the money. Secure parking at a cosy of 16.50 Euros per night, but not much else available locally. Good buffet breakfast - ours was in the price, but about 11 Euros otherwise
Chose because we were taking train in from Granada and then would be taking train to Madrid after stay. Location was perfect. About 10 min walk from train station and about 15 min walk into the old town of Córdoba. Staff very friendly and helpful with directions, printing train tickets, etc. Room was 5 star quality! Very clean. Bedroom separated from bathroom area. We faced a roof area and super quiet. Only issue might be the tub/shower if mobility issues. It was not easy in and out though there are several rails. We arrived tires on Sunday evening and decided to relax and thoroughly enjoyed live pianist in the lobby with very reasonably priced drinks. The pianist was so good! This was a great find!
My daughter and I shared a lovely large room with two nice sized beds and superb bathroom. Our parking and breakfast were included in our reasonable price. The location was really terrific for sightseeing and driving in and out of town. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We spent just one night, but because the hotel is so well situated and the breakfast was so great (and we could leave the car in the lot, and our luggage in the storage room, until departure mid afternoon) we felt we had plenty of time to explore the Mezquita, Roman Bridge, the excellent museum at the end of the bridge, the old neighborhood, the patios, shoes, wonderful tapas, wine, and local sweets, a festival (by chance), holiday decorated shopping area... Highly recommend!!
I spent one night here on a business trip. I got the train into Córdoba & was able to walk to the hotel from the train station, approx 10 mins. It was a lovely, charming hotel with a lovely, spacious clean room, lovely big comfy bed! Breakfast was included & had a very good selection of food. A very pleasant stay.
I stopped at the hotel for 1 night and selected the hotel because it was just 5 minutes walk from the high speed train station (I was catching the train to Malaga early the next morning). Even though the hotel is rated at 4 star, my room was certainly 5 star quality. Obviously not like the top luxury international hotels, but certainly more luxurious than some 5 star hotels I have stay at in the under $200 dollars a night range. The room was almost as large as a suite and quite sumptuous with a lovely bathroom with two sinks. Disabled or older folks might want to check with the hotel about accessibility, however. The shower is inside the bath which is surrounded by a large marble plinth, and even as an able body person I struggled to get out the shower. As I was only stopping one night I cannot vouch for the other facilities, such as the restaurant or gym etc. Though, I did take afternoon tea (I'm English!) in the lobby lounge area. I had a nice Black Forest Gateaux but the "English Breakfast tea" turned out to be some stale fruit infusion and it took some persuading to get it changed, with the waiter insisting that "black was white", so to speak. I think there was also a language issue. Few of the staff I interacted with (including this waiter) could really speak English or French (and probably not German) Courtesy of the booking site I use, I am part of their VIP programme and the hotel sent a waiter to my room in the evening with a courtesy tray of chocolate truffles and a fancy bottle of mineral water. Which, was a nice touch. It is about a 25 minute walk to the historical sites of Cordoba, which wasn't a problem for me because I have visited them before and I was only in transit. If you don't fancy the walk, the hotel has its own taxi rank, or you can grab a bus at the train station, a five minutes walk away. I was sad that my stay was so short and I will happily stop at the hotel on any return visits to Cordoba.
Good location, and a nice hotel with pool and restaurant for sunny afternoons. Have nothing to complain about. It's clean and tidy, and everyone is helpful Lived up to what I expected, for the money ..
