Overall good for price , especially for the price but the room and overall the hotel wasnt especially clean which was disappointing. Good equipment in fitness center
Great location. Close to restaurants and Edinburgh Premium Outlet Mall. Hotel needs an update. I chose the hotel for indoor pool and it was closed for repairs :-(
My wife and I were unable to obtain a hotel room in Indianapolis for the Final Four so we had to search outside the city. We stumbled upon this very inexpensive, decently rated hotel around 30 minutes away from the stadium. The trip to the stadium was quite easy, just get on 65 and follow it to Indy so this was not a big setback. The staff was extremely courteous and the continental breakfast was very ample (biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, coffee, juices, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, apples/oranges). The hotel looks older on the outside but you can tell it is renovated on the inside. The rooms were very clean and well kept, as was the rest of the lobby, hallways, etc. The only complaint I would have is the main lamp providing most of the light in the room was motion sensing and would go off if we were not next to the sensor which was next to the door to the room. Other than that, the beds were plenty comfy and the room temp was regulated by a digital thermostat as opposed to using a dial on the heater/air conditioner itself which was a great feature. Also, directly across the street from a huge outlet store area if you are interested in that. Would definitely recommend
This Hotel is located in close proximity to the Hoosier Horse Park. Very clean, good breakfast, polite personnel.
Stayed for a week. Had everything I needed. Not 5 star but good value for the money.
First I will start off saying that the staff was very friendly when I was checking in they both had smiles on there faces when I came threw the door explained in great detail about the hot breakfast (which i might add our last morning they had great scrabbled eggs) an other great food sausage, pastries cereal I could go on..The room was clean an even had a hand written note welcoming us .Even tho the hotel was 50 min plus from our destination I would still recommed a stay here...TJ raleigh,nc
I was provided good service and would recommend Best Western, I just stayed a night, very clean room, and heat worked great, not too hot, not too cool. Exercise room is a bit older but it worked for me while I was there.
First, the description online[...]) said this hotel was smoke free, this is not the case. So we ended up being booked into a smoking room. Luckily the smoke smell wasn't horrible. The hotel is lobby is updated but that is about it. The rooms are not, the shower head was horrible and there were multiple bugs found in the room. Breakfast was good and that was nice. They allow pets which is great.
I ordered a smoking room online to get there and find out is was a no smoking hotel. I decided to deal with that and then went to take the kids to the pool room temerature and pool temerature was 64 degrees! Who can swim in 64 degree temperature? Then when I requested to see a manager of coarse there wouldn't be one there until after I checked out.
It was a 95 degree day outside and no one thought to turn on the ac in our room. It was like a sauna in it. Plus the central air in the hallways and lobby had gone out and it was warm and stuffy in them. I realize they have no control over things like that, but I would think they would call for repairs and get it fixed right away instead we were told they would try to fix it on Monday. We stayed Friday night to Saturday morning.
My husband and I stayed one night. He was stationed at Camp Atterbury, I came to visit. It was much nicer than the barracks and military family housing, but looking back on it, we should have spent the extra 20 bucks to stay at a competing high end hotel across the way for a 4 star experience, instead of a 2. It was close to the base, and a 10 minute drive to Columbus, and right across from the outlet shopping mall. Although the rooms were renovated and very nice, and the small indoor pool was good for cooling off, the little details were missing to make it worth the above-average cost (it seems they were cutting corners by not air-conditioning the hallways, limited breakfast items and only 2 hours to get breakfast, minimal desk coverage, housekeeping came at 8am, etc). But it served its purpose as a nice, clean, family friendly place to stay for a night, not a trucker stop.
