I stayed at this hotel from December 1-4 for three nights. The facility is clean and well kept. Customer service for the most part was ok needs some work. Breakfast area is small but food is fresh. House keepers are very friendly and willing to help. I have this Facility a 4star because of the parking. They allow contracted to stay here and park their vehicles any where and any way they want. Im handicap and I came in from celebrating my sister's birthday at 1am and there was no parking. I had to park infront of the door which is not safe at all. Other than that my stay was ok. The beds are comfortable if you like a soft mattress. You have a small refrigerator and a microwave which I used for my time there. As I stated the facility is clean and well kept. Will visit again but will make sure I'm back at a decent time to get a parking spot Lol!
I needed a place to stay with my family to enjoy a function with friends and I will say this hotel did not disappoint. It is also pet friendly which I will keep in mind for my next stay. Front desk was exceptional. Will definitely stay again.
Helped book multiple rooms at the Fairfield Inn for family members attending a funeral service for a beloved family member at Heritage Funeral Home which is very close to hotel. The entire Marriott staff went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing as possible under the stressful situation. In particular, one of their handicap accessible rooms greatly helped me assist my wheelchair bound brother in getting ready for the service and allowed for a more spacious room for family members to gather with him before the services. Common areas, rooms and breakfast area clean and bright. This property reminds me why I continue to be a loyal Marriott Rewards member..
I wish I could remember the name of the girl who helped us in the front desk. We got here at 5pm on a saturday without a reservation (cause we had a reservation for another hotel but had to run because it was horrible), and this girl found us a room and got us a great price in spite of being for the same day. The hotel was marvelous. Super clean, very pleasant decoration, the room was spacious and the beds are EXTREMELY comfortable. I seriously wanted to take the pillows home. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast is taken off too early, but this kind of hotels all have the same breakfast hours.
USC football weekend, I checked in on mobile app and was handed keys right away, however when we got to the room that did not work, necessitating a trip back down to front desk, that was not bad but the 5:30 am wake up call we did not order was surprising. Everything else good , clean room , comfortable bed and temperature.
We visited this hotel for a brief night to catch some sleep part way back north. Our very late arrival was no problem. The main doors were locked and we had to dial operator on phone in lobby to get manager to come to front to open up - which is fine - I understand that it's a security issue. The hotel seemed exceptionally busy for a Sunday evening as cars were parked everywhere. We stayed in a standard King room with the normal amenities, free wi-fi, Paul Mitchell hair & soap products. Room was at the very end of hall (which was not really that far), fairly clean & had plenty of towels. Some extra pillows in closet would have been a nice addition though - but certainly not necessary. Bed was on the softer side but not terrible. A VERY good buffet breakfast was available 630-930 am. It included lots of continental type items (fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, bagels, english muffins, etc.) yet also provided a great selection of hot breakfast items including: scrambled eggs (with toppings to add), mini cheese omelets, canadian bacon, and make your own mini Belgian waffles. Apple & orange juices were available as well as milk, coffee and fruit infused water in the lobby - nice touch. Also a nice little outdoor patio was adjacent to the breakfast area - would have enjoyed it had it not been raining! Only negative things I would say is that the hotel was not particularly quiet as we could hear voices in next room and road/truck traffic on highway. Maybe that was that side of the hotel or being at the end of the hall (road/traffic noise). Also, our mini refrigerator kept coming on every 1/2 hour or so and it made a very loud humming noise that was distracting (even to extremely tired travelers). Other than that -- pretty good hotel! Fairly good value (especially with the great breakfast offerings), average prices, unfortunately louder noise levels.
If you are ever going through Columbia South Carolina and you are taking I-20 be sure to stay here. It is conveniently located of the highway and located near a lot of shops and restaurants The hotel is your typical Marriott service was great, rooms were great and the breakfast hit the spot. You can’t go wrong staying here.
Amazingly surprised to be offered a beer from the ice cold bucket offered on Wednesdays. This hotel is very conveniently located off the interstate. Staff were very friendly. Morning buffet had many options. No frills, but very fresh. Bedding was clean, soft and comfortable. Toiletries were great and good quality.
This hotel is just off the highway. The sales associate at the front desk was Ebony. She was very helpful and friendly.Informed us of where everything was and assisted us on trying to find a restaurant. We didn't go to the one we wanted instead we went to one that was closer. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. They have free snacks for you when you arrive. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff was really friendly. We were traveling back from Ohio after staying with family until hurricane Irma flew over our home state of Florida. The place was extremely clean and the front staff allowed pets with a an up charge. The front desk knew we were running from the hurricane and cut the pet fee in half. This is customer service and is rare to find that people can bend the rules for people going through tuff times. I will be back next time I am able to visit family. This location is the center point of driving between my family and my family in Ohio.
