Should have taken the omens at check in and stayed elsewhere. Staff had moved the guest in front of me to a different room without her knowledge, after she had checked in, and with no explanation. The swimming pool is closed and has a sign that says it was closed by the state!! Our room was literally falling apart. The floors were worse than a bar bathroom at closing time. The security lock was broken, the rack to hang clothes on was falling out of the wall. The bathroom counter was coming apart. The smoke detector was missing. There was no posted fire escape route. The mildew in the bathroom was out of this world. Cigarette burns in the blankets of our non smoking room. The AC barely worked. The waffle maker didn't work at the "free breakfast" so it was cereal with milk that looked and smelled questionable. Staff was clueless, acted completely inconvenienced when I asked for two extra towels, which looked dirty when we received them. I asked for the manager at check out, as I was told she would "be here in the morning"-- no one seemed to know where she was or if she was coming in. No apologies about our room, just the statement "I guess you guys weren't in one of our new rooms" followed by a sarcastic laugh. While I was explaining all the things wrong with our room the woman at the desk told me to hold and began trying to help another dissatisfied guest. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never had such an awful experience!

It's close to Fort Jackson which we we needed because we were visiting family there. It feels like it's in an unsafe area. Not sure, but kind if hidden at the end if the road. Had a weird smell in the lobby and throughout the hotel.

Experience started okay with the receptionist, but quickly changed once had housekeeper brought her negative attitude around.

The hotel was stank and the front staff had bad attitudes. Will never stay there again.

less than par. Housekeeping had a nasty attitude.and overall stay was not to my expectation. And the pool needs to be taken out the online ad.

The staff was friendly for the most part. I had one staff member that was unhelpful, but it was during the overnight hours that the issue arose and it was quickly resolved in the morning.. The room cleanliness was not up to par.. The upholstery was stained and the tapestry was hanging off the rod.. To make a long story short, you get what you pay for--so my expectations were modest at best..

Rooms and halls were dirty and overused. Strong smell of disinfectant throughout. Would not recommend.

Discusting, Ripped up carpet cigarettes on floor I didnt even stay it was so nasty. I was there for 2 hours and had to leave

Great for families who are looking to be close to Ft. Jackson

Hotel was ok, but our car was broken into overnight :(

It was ok. Nothing fancy. For the price I wasn't expecting too much.

It was a pretty good experience. I was surprised that the room came with a microwave and refrigerator.

Out of the way no convient trasportation paint chippinng on walls, not. enough plug ins

had to ask for daily room service. weekends was noisey do to several cars loaded with women all house of the night.

This hotel was very close to Ft. Jackson, the staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean, breakfast not so good (old breads, not much choice). But for the money these days and just a place to shower & sleep it was alright. Must warn you though, trains pass by in the middle of the night and honk their horns very loud (will wake you up).

Hotel was very run down. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very humid And everything felt wet and there was a bad odor from the a/c. Walls had gouges and marks all over them. Pillows very uncomfortable. Bathroom was fairly clean but the toilet leaked and the hair dryer was broken. I definitely would not stay there again.

Daughter graduating from Ft. Jackson. The location was reasonable for going back and forth to the base. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean. I highly recommend this econo lodge to anyone needing a hotel in the area.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very nice and the location was great. It was literally 5 minutes from the military graduation I had to attend. The rate was great. I have NO complaints from this hotel. Yes, it was close to a train, but it didn't bother me.

We just needed a place to sleep to break up a long trip. It was good enough for our purposes. It is not pretty but, functional with access to several restaurants and 5 miles away from a state park with trails to run. We only heard the train (tracks are 50ft from the building) once early Friday night otherwise it was clean enought, we slept well and were on our way. Didn't bother with the free breakfast but, it was packed up early.
