An average hotel for the price. Wet Paint signs all over. No ice machine on our floor(2nd). 1st floor machine did not work, had to go to 3rd floor for ice. Wanted to pay cash for the room, but was not able to do so when booking through Orbitz.

This hotel was a good value for the price offered. It had a nice small indoor swimming pool. The breakfast was very good. there were some small things that needed to be fixed, like the sink aerators in two of these rooms were spraying water sideways, But just little things like that. It was overall a comfortable stay, but not fancy.

While checking into the room she had issues getting me checked in with the booking from here. She asked for a credit card to charge the room, but it was pre-paid for. It took her 15 mins to get it all straightened out while there were people behind me waiting she had no one else there to help. Laying in bed, i felt something crawling on me and looked down and saw ants in the bed. I had them crawling on me and the bed.

Okay. Did not like the fact they charged me $40 as a holding fee in case something went wrong. Bed was way too soft. Keys were programmed wrong twice.

unfortunately we had a bad experience in the hotel because the bathroom was full of fungus in all edge of tub, the toilet did not work, the key will not close properly wash hands and bounced on water, air conditioning stopped working at night and most important to the hotel staff not wise guidance for food places or attractions near the property. Finally I travel regularly and work for Morgans Hotels Group.

We had a nice room and the staff was great. Nothing really stood out, just a good location, clean room and the breakfeast bar was nice (although too small). The cleaning staff did get started a little early for a 12 noon checkout. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

All though the hotel was clean and for the most part friendly the cash deposit upon arrival was a shock. Then when I checked out they said they would mail my deposit back to me. This caused a hardship for me.

It was a nice room, but the pool was too small. There were a lot of children in there, so there was no room for an adult to just enjoy him/herself without being bothered.

Good value, but beds were very soft and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly.

We had a nice time. The price and location were fine.

Favorite thing was walking trails in the woods nearby--awesome trails.

We ate dinner at the nearby Bonefish grill. There is a movie theatre in the same mall.

it was in a good location. near eating places. easy access to highway and shopping. for the price it was decent and okay for the night. would not consider staying there for any long period of time. i live only 2 hours away but i chose to meet my partner in columbia for the evening. i would stay there again.

I have used this particular location since 2001, and I have always been pleased with the rooms and service. When visiting family in Columbia, I choose this location because it is safe, easy to access from I-26, and it's within walking distance from a mall, movie theater, restaurants and a Wal-Mart. Cold Stone is directly across the street!During this stay, while checking in, I did have one unpleasant experience with one staff member. Fortunately the general manager of the hotel quickly rectified that. The room that I purchased on Orbitz had a microwave, refrigerator, and a very nice decor. The room was clean and when I entered the room, the smell was very pleasant. I would definitely stay at the hotel again. I would especially like to note that [...], the front desk clerk and [...] the front desk manager were very friendly and professional.

We were in columbia for a family wedding.We saw a 3 star rating so assumed this hotel would be very nice.It was definately in need of updating. The pool was dirty. The lobby was dirty. The elevator was dirty. This may not be a reflection of housekeeping but of the hotel condition. As I said the room was cleaned as best houskeeping could do with what they had to work with. I blame orbitz for this because of thier rating system that was to high for the accomodations. I probably will not book through orbitz again . Orbitz also did not reply to an e-mail I sent them . Of course Orbitz controlls this correspondence so I bet this will never make the review list.

This the the first hotel that really stands out. It is one that I will go back to again and again. First, the check in went as smoothly as any I have experienced. The room and accomodations were above my expectations. Our unique needs in room refrigeration for my wife's insulin were not a matter of special expection but already there. Additionally, each rooom has a bed that provides the most comfort I have ever had in a bed away from home. We will be back.

I was very impressed. Clean, nice people, very good breakfast, the lady who set up the breakfast was extremely nice and helpful! would definatley stay again.

good location for the shopping mall.

comfortable stay for a family visit

We had a nice room and the staff was great. Nothing really stood out, just a good location, clean room and the breakfeast bar was nice (although too small). The cleaning staff did get started a little early for a 12 noon checkout. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
