Room was clean and tidy. Too much large furniture stuffed in to a small spca made for very tight accommodations. Hotel was located just outside Gate 1 of Ft Jackson so morning traffic is intense. If all you want is a clean spce with a bed and little else, this is the place.

Every day they had my room clean, breakfast in the morning (bread, cereal, coffee, milk and muffins) Good location where i wanted to go.

This was used to get some sleep a lot of driving. We were coming from Delray beach Fla headed to North East Ohio

Convenient to Gate 1 of Fort Jackson, can get to family day, graduation day quickly. Convenient to town. This is an older facility, and worth its price. Bed was comfy, warm, room clean enough, bathroom spotless. Facility shows its age, but, hard to beat for the price and convenience to the Fort.

We stayed in this hotel during our sons graduation and family day. We found it to be quite run down and a bit dirty. Not everything in the rooms we booked worked properly. One night came back and our rom key didn't work so had to go to the office to have it reset. Not what you want to have to do at the end of a busy day. All in all at the end of the day it was just a place to sleep at night, shower in the morning and go about our day. If we ever head back that way we will choose different accommodations.

Very close to Fort Jackson Gate 1. Not bad for the cost. Very basic no frills. Definately needs renovations. but overall, staff was nice and place was clean.

it was to pricey for it quality> a friend book a room at the extended stay which has better quality, and a more comfortable setting at the price of a little over forty dollars. With a pool and the same distance.!

The only benefit to booking here is its location to Fort Jackson if you are going down for BCT Graduation. Other than that, the staff barely spoke English and not friendly. The rooms were adequate, though very small. The door to our room did not close properly and lacked a security lock. All it had was the typical swing arm. You could also tell that the key cards had been reused instead of deprogrammed and reprogrammed as arrows were drawn on them and worn. Beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were extremely flat. Sits just feet from the roadway, noise was extreme.

We was in columbia for my step sons graduation from fort jackson. It was nice to be so close to the fort and we also was in walking distance from several resturants and a kmart so we had all we needed near by. Only thing I was hoping for was a pool but I was ok without it too

[...] no remote for the TV no plug for the tub, not clean had to ask for towels on our last day and to take out the trash.

I reserved a no smoking room[...] only to get there and be told they have no no smoking rooms. The room was filthy, had not been vacuumed. The heat worked, but I had to tolerate the noise in order to be warm that evening. Never again will I stay at this type of motel/hotel, I will in the future spend a little extra to get a better room.

I was visiting South Carolina, for the first time. Was there for the purpose of attending my daughter's graduation ceremony from bootcamp. The only positive thing I can say, is the motel was only a mile from the post, this was a definite plus. However, the rooms were really small, outdated, and I don't think the linen was clean either. I even encountered a large roach crawling on the wall. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. The price was good, but I would've gladly paid more for nicer accomdations.

Room was very clean and comfortable, but the small room size made it hard to pass one another just to get to the bathroom

The Econolodge was an ok hotel. It was in a convenient location of where my meeting was held. The outer appearance need some improvement. The hotel does not look appealing from the outside. One of the staff members wasn't too friendly. When I was in the room and call the front desk for assistance, I never could get anybody. The phone just rang and rang. The room was nice and clean.

well my stay was very good i was satistfy no problems what so ever and for my future stays at a hotel this will be my choice i will surely tell all my friends and family member. the econony lounge in souht carolina in ft jackson.....

The Econo Lodge at Columbia, SC was a very comfortable facility for the price. It's location relative to places to eat was very good and the variety of food selection was wonderful. I could have used a little larger work area, which I will ask for on my next visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very small but clean enought. The building is old and needs a lot of repairs and new furniture and carpet. We had to repair our window that would not lock. I wasn't expecting much and that's what I got. If you just need a place to sleep for a few hours it works.
