Beds were not queen size they were full size. The room was dirty. There was people all over outiside working on cars. Woman pushing shopping cart with wine bottles in it and a walker drunks hanging out all over the place on the property. It was not a safe place at all.
Bring ur own pillows because the little ones they provide will make ur head hurt
Rooms were dark and decrepit. curtain fixtures were separated from the walls. ditto for the brackets holding shower curtains. wouldn't go back there if they paid me. parking lot and grounds surrounding the "inn" were dark and filthy.
This hotel is in a sketchy location. It's located back in a little knook away from the main road next to an abandoned building. The staff was okay except for the maid. She knocked on our door at 9am our first morning there which isn't too early but for some people, it may be. For us, we were still sleeping. The room was nice, very clean and tidy. One night, super late (around 2-3 in the morning), we did hear a knock at our door which made us feel very uneasy and unsafe. We didn't open the door but the fact that it did happen did not make us happy campers. Overall, it wasn't that bad but I wouldn't recommend that location to a friend or anyone looking for a place to stay in Columbia and I definitely would not stay there again.
Location is out of the way but not too difficult to find. Many nearby restaurants and other shopping.
Remote location but cozy place There was construction happening so they would start hammering early in the morning
Hate the stay and the workers. Total disgusted. Low grade amenities, less than par customer service, and rude employees
The hotel was the absolute dirtiest hotel I had ever stayed in! There were dust piles on the floor. I had to wipe down the shower myself and the rag I used was black. The shower was also falling out of the wall. The towels had holes in them and stains on them and the bed linens were old and filthy! Never staying at a days inn again!
I got the Jacuzzi room. It was nice. this was just a little one night get away.
Would not stay there again! Room was dirty. Towels were dirty and the sheets lioked like they had not been changed. Not a good experience. Continental breakfast, not anything that I would suggest anyone t eat! Just not good at all! Place needs a complete overhaul and thorough cleaning!!
It was a cozy location. We stayed on the second level. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were okay. We stayed for two days so it was a quick trip but there were no troubles at all.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Great price for the room. Very close to great shopping area and interstate. Also short distance from downtown Columbia.
Loud people outside room all night. Room was dirty and unconfortable.
good location, that's all I can say. directly off the interstate and next to the walmart. the rooms were cleaned everyday, but superficially. the price per night made it worth while as long as your not afraid to tell the other guests to quiet down.
Available on Parent's weekend for a good price. A little less than expected- not much care in the cleaning or presentation. Smoking room when I asked for non-smoking. Looks like it is going downhill.
Getting to this hotel was a bit scary. As we turned the corner for the hotel, the first thing we saw was an abandoned building with overgrown weeds next to it. This is the old style hotel with the doors on the outside of the building. The room was not very clean with dust all over, a drawer without a pull to open it, room not made up when we got back, and the rug was dirty. The breakfast was the basic fare with apples that were not very fresh. They are redoing another set of units across from our room so we know how this hotel looked before they redid it. The pool looked fine since that was also refurbished. It is a work in progress. The one positive thing I had was the bed was very comfortable, but the blankets were also dirty.
This is an okay place to lay your head down for the night, but I wouldn't want to stay there for more than one night. In fact, we decided to move to a much nicer place for our other 2 nights in Columbia.
Hotel was being renovated during our stay but work did not affect our stay
The room was just okay the bathroom is tiny but at least it was not dirty. The breakfast was terrible. If you just want a place to lay your head overnight then this would be the place. I would recommend to someone who is in a budget.
when i got there i went into the lobby and there was no air on in the lobby it was very hot in there i checked into the room it was hot in the room no air on i turned the air on there was a loud noise comming from the ac the sheets on the bed was dirty and stained the floor was dirty the restroom was filty the towels were dingy and hard i went to the office and told the guy there i couldnot stay there it was too filty i went to the best western where it was very nice
