Clean but dated. Very thin walls. Neighbors woke me up singing and talking at 3:30 a.m.

Room was clean but in need of some upgrades/remodeling. Reminded me of motels visited as a child in the 1950s. Owner was kind enough to wait up for us since we arrived late ad they were very cordial.

Fountain Creek access is a plus. Retro feel. Close to so many things to do!

I suspect this property is being renovated. It is very clean, if old-fashioned. What I really liked was REAL ORANGE JUICE at breakfast, not nasty stuff one gets at many motels. The breakfast bars were good, too.

Bring earplugs for the street noise, but enjoy the beautiful creekside area in back and adjacent park and walking trails

Next to a beautiful running stream and close to Manitou Springs.

Front desk lady was very nice. Showed us two rooms. As we were on a budget, we went a head and took the room. as all furnishings were old and outdated I cannot say I recommend this motel.

I would have liked to give this motel a higher rating. It appeared to be operated by a pleasant older couple. They seemed to have done a lot of work updating it. The rate was cheap, $60 when everything around was booked so we were careful with our expectations. The room was adequate, but overall disappointing. We booked a queen bed, but got a very cheap mattress double. The room was adequately clean, but the carpet was pretty gross. The air conditioner stopped functioning after an hour. They warned us the toliet clogged easily and we were very careful, but it clogged anyway. The shower truely was almost impossible to adjust between freezing and scalding. The walls were paper thin with a busy road in front. There is a beautiful creek out back. Maybe we got the bad room. It does appear to be a work in progress. Hope you have better luck.

Great price for staying close to Garden of the Gods. Its 50s style, well mantained and clean, but basic, in a motel area in Manitou Springs, feesl safe though. And breakfast wasn´t originally included in the price, yet there was fruit and granola and coffee for free, which was a nice gesture.

Great location, nice balcony view of the creek behind the hotel, hotel staff responsive to needs. Would stay here again as hopefully road construction is done soon.

Very clean and quiet yet right off main highway. Owner very nice and helpful also.

The motel is a bit old and worn, but the proprietor obviously keeps it up lovingly--flowers, a garden in back overlooking a river, and other nice little touches.

It was difficult to get to because of construction, but not the fault of the hotel. Clean room at a decent price. The TV was a pain to figure out with the remotes and the internet connection wasn't very good. For the price, it was ok.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Also extremely reasonably priced. Perfect location for access to Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc.

Dated facility but very clean. Super friendly front desk staff and a cute office dog. Enjoyed the sound of a stream running outside our room and used the fire pit that sits along the water's edge. Very quaint.

The lady at front counter gave me a plunger. Her husband was rude as well

Absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed in! The owners are great people; rooms are always clean; the bed sleeps better than the one I have at home; good location; just can't say enough about the place and people running it. It's not a fancy place by any means, but you'll never stay anywhere better!!

I liked this place. Despite some reviews to the contrary I like this spot and would stay there again if I am in the area. One of the things I liked was I got to check in a little early. Check in at most places is about 3:00 pm and they have posted check in at 2:00. I got to check in even prior to this and this allowed me to settle in and get some rest before heading over to the Broadmoor for dinner. The couple that owns this establishment are older and have what sounded like a German accent and they were very pleasant. The room even being a little older was very clean with no bad smells. All of the rooms have a back door that opens to a little deck overlooking a creek, picnic and playground. They had some nicer motel soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Like I say I like this place. I could have spent more maybe had a softer bed, but I cannot imagine being more pleased.

This is by no means a fancy hotel but a very nice clean and comfortable Independant family owned and operated establishment that recommend to my friends and family. They Provided everything I needed for the night and I feel they would accommodate any needs I had for a longer stay, as well. I would certainly return to this motel

Very clean.. affordable and close to shopping and restaurants. Lovely view out back. I love that the room had a back door that you could go out and sit on the deck overlooking the creek. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I've stayed at this hotel twice in past 2 years.
