Checked in on September 14 2017 . I was given a room on the 3 floor , I took the key went to the Elevator and I knew I had made a terrible mistake by checking in base on the elevator it had not been clean / trash on the floor. I processed to the room to check it out , the window looked onto the Balcony I set down for 2 minutes tops and I saw over 11 people pass by my window to proceed to the room next door ( back to back traffic in and out knock on the door something being passed hand to hand ) I returned to office and let them know I will stay in this room and I would like to check out ( no refund ) I'm so pissed at myself I should have read the REVIEWS and looked at room before checking in . The Guy at the office try to help ( he was the only employee in the whole place that had a personality the other employees had serious Attitude problems) I go to the next room, no working light and the bedspread has a burn marks and it's a nonsmoking room 😆. Third time I return to office the nice Guy gives me a first floor room , I take it in defeat I have traveled all day from Phoenix to Denver to the springs. I want to rest go to the room take a shower and proceed to lay down 10 minutes into my sleep the party starts over my head and next door (stumping, jumping, running all night long ) it was like the walking dead zombie the traffic never stopped/ this is on a Wednesday night remind you . Day 2 in hell hotel u call the front desk about housekeeping, in told they only clean once a week ( what the Hell) I explain this is will not work for me I need them to clean to Day . Day 3 in hell I go to the lobby to ask about clean towels I'm told I must bring the dirty towels to the office to receive clean ones okay not a problem , I do as I'm instructed by the person with major attitude ( I can't include names of employees no one has name tags 👀) I'm given 2 towels for 3 more day I explain to the person I like shower twice a day and I would need more towels .... no response just a blank stare .. I could go on with this encounter from Hell but I want , I hope the next traveler is smart than me an READ the reviews before checking in!!!!
We are currently staying as evidently there are no refunds for week long check-ins. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. This place is super ghetto. Within 15 minutes of arriving here, I got out to stretch my legs and did a couple laps around the building. I walked past a guy who was sitting on the sidewalk, and by the time I made it back around, dude was flat on his back out cold half in the grass. Minutes later, emergency services arrived and carted him off. We assume it was a heroin overdose. It seems as though there are whole families actually LIVING here. Presumably because this place doesn't do credit checks. There are broken down cars sitting in the parking lot. Our neighbors are incredibly noisy, yelling, stomping, slamming doors, banging on the seemingly paper thin walls. The vibrations from these things are strong enough to shake the beds. Little children roam freely. Our neighbors are sitting outside smoking weed as I type this and our room wreaks of it. This is not the first time I have noticed this. There is trash lingering in the stairways and parking lot. The office clerk was even ranting about some people who are staying here as we were checking in. There is a big banner on the building which says something to the effect of newly remodeled rooms. As if. The mattresses are wrapped in urine protectors. The sheets on my bed are stained with who knows what. The room had no towels when we arrived. The bathroom door doesn't latch closed. The shower is a stand-up shower which leaks onto the floor. The shower faucet is so loose, there is about a half inch between cold and scorching. And the ceiling of the bathroom is disgusting. Covered in mildew and mold. The "free" wifi is more of a teaser than it is a functioning internet connection. Don't bother with youtube or netflix. We ran a speed test when we got here and the download speed was 0.5mbit/s. If you purchase their premium wifi deal, the connection is advertised to increase to 3mbit/s. Oh, and good luck getting towels. Keep looking.
First of all we stayed March 31st through April 2nd a Friday night, and Saturday night. Neither night had hot water. It took 30 minutes to check me in even though I had prepaid with a credit card. They ask for a deposit even if you pay with credit card. Then, they were having boiler problems before i checked in but failed to mention it so I went to take a shower the next morning and had no hot water. It was snowing and cold and I couldn't take even a Luke warm shower! I was assured by the front desk I would have hot water on the next day, which I didn't. The front desk hung up on me in the middle of me saying but I was assured I'd have hot water. The GM called me and He said they had intermittent water problems, well I can tell you they were pretty constant when I wanted hot water. Saturday am at 330 the guests in the next room were fighting and banging on the wall so bad that I had to call the police. The police came and as soon as they were gone they started fighting again until 530 am. When I told the GM about it all he said was that wasn't a hotel issue. So do yourself a favor don't waste your money staying here. The rooms are small, the beds are small, they have kitchettes but you must bring pots, pans, cooking equipment. If you get a remodeled room they are in fair condition, if not they are ghetto at best. You only get 1 bath towel, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel provided unless you ask for another which is crazy since it sleeps 2.
I could have sworn I already entered a review on this stay but.... I actually stayed at this hotel last yr and forgot to write a review. I was in C.O springs the week of Mar 13, 2017 and needed a 1 night stay. One thing I learned is to request a room in the front of the hotel if you are a non smoker like myself. Last yr I was put in a non smoking room on the back side and everyone around me smoked outside their room. needless to say, It did not make a difference that I had a non smoking room. On the positive side. The rooms have made noticeable positive improvements. New H.D Tv's, new fridge, bed spreads. The rooms overall looked cleaner. Though the kitchen area was also clean the countertop had some burn marks and scratches and one of the burners did not work, It would really help if they replaced those as well. For the price, I think it is decent. Lastly; I wanted to give a 5 stars to Melissa. She was the front desk attendant and I remembered her from last yr when she was one of the house keeping attendants. Great customer service and handled a room full of impatient customers extremely well. I felt bad for her and the owner should hire more help. I did not have a bed bug issue there and never have but 1 tip on the bed bugs. Regardless of where you stay, bed bugs are brought in from the person that stayed and slept in the room before you. I never use the sheets or bed spreads on any hotel I stay. I bring a spray bottle that has alcohol at least %50 and vinegar diluted in distilled water and spray all over the room and bed. Then I put my own cover over their bed spread and use my own covers and pillows. So far so good. Or, you can always bring a ultra violet flashlight and check before you sleep on the bed. Not trying to be funny or patronize anyone just trying to help.thks laura
So far this trip has been really good we're staying at the cross lands there was a lot of bad reviews actually our room has a new bed. Where househunting in Colorado Springs we've been exploring the area and people seem friendly.
Check the room out if they will let you before you stay. We stayed in this motel 2 different nights during a 2 week trip. One room had a very hard double bed, had been smoked in (even thought it was non-smoking), dirty carpet, not very clean. Another room was fairly nice and clean. Both rooms had fridge, micro, table, flat screen TV, good A/C. The motel provides no ice, no ice trays, no coffee, no dishes. The elevator and hall is filthy.
Need I say more? Scary experience. $80 with a $50 deposit (that wasn't returned for a week) I walk in the door and the stench of mold filled my nostrils. I thought: "Well, it's the early AM. No choices. Suck it up." Towels were stained (with dark red?) Black silt in the tub. Mold under the mattress (and a bottle of alcohol) Lie in the bed, and after a few minutes start getting tingling feelings throughout my body. Thought: "It's the a/c on my skin." They I began feeling little pricks here and there...and then tiny bumps. YES BUMPS. Threw the covers off, and right below my shorts? PUBIC HAIR. I hopped out of bed, ripped off my clothes and bagged them. Called the office and said I'm showering then coming for a refund. Hopped in the grimy (freezing) shower then went back for a refund. Most disgusting hotel experience of my entire life, and I've had a few. NEVER STAY HERE.
As in prior review - told no smoking - oh its smoking room. Extended stay hotels - usually hotels of this nature have pots, pans, utensils - nope not this location. NONE and they do not provide them to you. Why is there is kitchen in here and why am I paying for this amenity. I guess Ill go buy new pots and pans so I can update my stuff at home after I leave here... Entry door: has a nice lovely gap so who knows what can get in. That's the smallest queen bed I have ever seen - looks like a full. These blankets. If you tried to donate to Goodwill they would throw them in the trash. Trying to get a goodnights sleep after playing or working all day. NO WAY loud people, cars, music, crack heads do crack head stuff. Yes there are drug deals in parking lot, and small little baggies littering the parking lot that meth heads use. Curtin for the front window - multiple holes, how does that happen. Flooring/carpet. Stains all over the carpet - laminate flooring in the bathroom is peeling up. Kitchen - lol "a kitchen area" sorry had to laugh - you would have to just see it but I don't recommend you staying here. When do they clean the room? Hassle to get clean towels. TV not that I watch much of it - it is an old box looking thing that's maybe a 13" screen. I was going to try and tough it out for a month - that wasn't going to work.
Great price, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for! These studios are in need of renovation. The room had an unpleasant odor, the stove in the room did not work, the beds are really uncomfortable. I suggest that you pay a few more dollars somewhere else for a more comfortable stay!
This is supposed to be an extended stay type of hotel,i looked it up online and it looked decent. We arrived Monday evening check in was fine, got to the room totally different than what was shown online, the web site say's ''AMENITIES YOU WON'T FIND IN A TYPICAL HOTEL ROOM'',what a joke the carpet has stains, the bathroom floor has stains the towels are small as heck, the web show's a full fridge we have a mini fridge the web site also say's dining and cooking utensils provided NOT TRUE,we had to use a fruit cup as a sink stopper cause they don't provide those either the stove when you turn it on automatically goes to high heat, yesterday when we came back from eating out there was a drug deal going on in the parking lot. Which has me asking myself why don't the owners care?, if i owned a hotel i would want it to be clean and not use false advertising to get customers now i'm on the web with other dissatisfied customers writing a bad review!
