I traveled with work and stayed for 2 nights with carnival partying going on was a nightmare with so many drunken men trying to crack onto you and noise all night. Add to that no air con as they have changed it all too heating so rooms were boiling hot and too noisy to sleep with window open. Twin beds rather than a double a pain and a weak shower not what I was expecting from the Pullman and hope to get in somewhere else next time. Room service breakfast was the highlight

I visited cologne for Anuga 2017. The hotel enjoys a great location with plenty of restaurants / eating options in the vicinity. It was a leisurely 25 min walk to kolnmesse. I would recommend the hotel to individuals and families visiting Cologne.

Lovely stylish hotel, in just the right location for where I needed to be. Comfortable, modern very clean rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Felt very safe in the hotel which was important as I was travelling alone.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, although on the small side. Thin but large towels, good shower. Good breakfast. Always taxis outside. Second stay in this hotel and will return. First night there was a carnival in the lobby but luckily couldnt year anything from my room.

excellent breakfast . very good location. nice panorama view. nice and kindly stuff. big and comfortable rooms. nice king bed; the shower very spoily i will come again to this hotel.for all my staying in cologne for business

The Hotel Pullman Cologne in Germany is a stately and stylish old lady still providing top comfort, class and convenience in the city center. The hotel has been renovated with modern fittings and comes with all the basic necessities and comfort that modern day travelers expect from hotels. It is walkable distance from the main train station in Cologne, but it is best to keep in mind that there are stretches of cobbled streets and sidewalks, so it might not be the most comfortable and easiest walk. For first time visitors to Cologne, I think it might be easier to make use of a taxi to get to the hotel the first time, and once familiar with the surroundings and directions, most places of interest are within walking distance ~ this includes public transportation such as buses and trams as well. Check in was quick and effortless, they had most of the paperwork prepared beforehand, and within minutes we were making our way up to the rooms. The hotel has a bar and restaurant on the ground floor - this is also where the breakfast is served in the mornings. There is also a spa and small workout area on the first floor. A nice touch is the glass elevator providing some nice views of the city and surrounding area when going up and down, but don’t worry, there are also the more traditional and less exotic standard elevators as well. The rooms are a decent size, not huge, but it will suffice for a few days. The beds are big and comfortable, the mini bars are stocked along with the standard free water and tea & coffee facilities. There are also multiple outlets for technological gadgets, a safety deposit box, wifi and all the standard toiletries are provided as well. Our room had a nice view of the Cologne Dom, which was something to be seen, despite the dreary weather while we were there. The breakfast was really something impressive, and almost anything you could think of was available ~ an egg station and hotel dishes, a wide selection of breads, fruit, cheese, cold meats, teas & coffees, juices, yoghurts, cereals & oats, even a Wellness section and some sparkling wine for those inclined to kickstart their day! I enjoyed the friendly and efficient service at this hotel, good standards and convenience of the facilities, as well as a decent location close to the main station and pedestrian shopping areas and would gladly stay here again.

That Cologne if famous for its carnaval was known to me, what the Hotel does not mention on its Website or when making a reservation is that the Hotel is host to big carnaval parties (but not during the actual carnaval week). This included drunken people in costumes in the lobby and screaming party folks in front of the Hotel till 3 in the morning. The rooms are ok but the bathroom was not cleas, broken doors, broken glass and so on. For our breakfast table we had to wait 15mins. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel!

Very modern and nice hotel that is located at 5-10 minutes’ walk from the city center. Check-in was fast and the girl was very friendly. We booked a Deluxe room directly with the hotel. Deluxe includes breakfast, minibar, premium Wi-Fi, wellness access and check-out at 15u. The room is a bit small but it has a very large bed, modern bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The shower has a privacy screen which can be opened for a better view on the room. There was no bath although it stated that each deluxe room has a bath and shower. Not a problem for me but the lady was very disappointed. Flat screen TV on the wall with built-in docking station. This didn’t work so I hooked up the HDMI cable directly on the TV. The TV is a bit old and slow so it could use an upgrade but it was sufficient. The bed was very comfortable as we slept very well. Our room was close to the elevator and you hear it during the day but we didn’t hear anything at night. I forgot my shaving cream and the reception sent someone with-in 5 minutes with a shaving kit so service is excellent. Minibar was refilled which is unique when it’s included in the room. Windows in the room can be opened which was welcome in the morning to get some fresh air in filled with oxygen. Breakfast was very good so I would recommend you start your day in style! The Wellness is on the 2nd floor, it has a sauna & steam bath. Also a fitness with cardio equipment, free water & tea facilities, fresh towels and robes. Everything was very clean so bonus points for housekeeping! There is a cocktail bar on the 12th floor with a stunning view over Cologne. We haven’t used the restaurant. The hotel has an underground parking that costs 25 EURO/day but you can also park securely close-by for 6 EURO/day. The city imposes a 5% city tax which is quite high. Wonderful experience and I can recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Cologne.

I have stayed in Pullman hotels before (Munich, London and São Paulo) and always found them to be good hotels. Stayed here over New Year, and I was a little disappointed if I am being honest. For a hotel claiming it's nearly 5 stars, it is way off. The rooms are warm, a/c isn't great, mini bar is warm, TV is tiny with few channels, rooms were smaller than expected, location not amazing. It was all very underwhelming from the Pullman brand. And the final kick in the teeth, I was quoted €347.40 for my two day stay, yet ended up paying €364.77 with some sneaky little extras they add-on as goodbye gift. I personally would definitely book elsewhere if I am ever in the wonderful city of Köln again. It's a shame, as I am usually a big fan of Pullman Hotels.

Stayed for 6 nights last month(mid-December) and was extremely happy with the Pullman(other than parking cost). Room was huge with a beautiful view of the Dom(10th floor) Mark B. at the lounge was efficient and very helpful with ideas on where/how to get around and what to see. Natasha at the front desk was warm and engaginging and ultra helpful. I would whole heartedly reccommend this hotel, and would definately stay here again.
