Our room was very hot, like a sweat box. There was no air con. Opened window but the noise was too much. Out of our window, right next to us was an active building site. Started 6:20am and ended round 5:30pm. Paid a high price for the room but sadly not value for money. Thank God we only stayed one night! Staff were friendly which was the only positive.

Excellent accommodation for a short visit to Cologne old town. The room we booked overlooked part of the cathedral, unfortunatly also a large building renovation which is perhps inevitable in any big city.

While it was nice for my budget, when I asked for additional towels late at night they simple said ‘no you’ll have to wait in the morning’. I have never had anyone deny towels to me. I asked him ‘so am I just not suppose to have towels’ and he said ‘yes you’ll have to wait for my colleague in the morning’. It was the weirdest, interaction I’ve ever had in a hotel. Also there’s construction happening next door and it was very loud every morning which makes it rough to sleep because they don’t offer air conditioning so you have to sleep with the windows open

A perfect stay! The view was stunning, and the location couldn’t be better, right by the station, which made getting around super easy. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We liked the location, but other than that had a bad experience with this hotel. Room was incredibly hot and very uncomfortable, the bed was rock hard. There is a construction project on going right beside the hotel so if you plan on relaxing in your room for a few hours during the day the only thing you will hear is the construction just feet away from your window. To top it off, there was a concert being held extremely close to the hotel as well which made for a long first night as it was as if you were in the middle of the crowd with how loud it was.
