This hotel was virtually brand new, so everything was in excellent shape. Breakfast was very good, offering eggs, potatoes, sausage, and the usual cold offerings. The only downside was that the thermostat was broken in the room, causing me to get up throughout the night to adjust it. To be fair, I didn't call the front desk to ask for a fix, but I did I inform them the next day.

The Comfort Inn at Colby, KS is new and well maintained. But, what sets it apart is the staff. DJ Easter, the manager at the front desk, was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about where to get dinner. Marlowe was one of the people preparing the breakfast, and very an enjoyable conversationalist. Our being early didn’t upset her in the least. Isabella served as breakfast preparer and at the front desk. I needed a stamp, and she searched until she found one, then offered to mail my postcard. People like these certainly enhance one’s stay at a hotel. Thank you.
