Not a bad hotel. Not the Taj Mahal, but it is cheap and close to the venue. Making it the prime spot for most of the out of town attendees. Which comprised of most of the audience, since the band no longer tours. Bar was cool enough to make a private after party for band and fans. It is older, run down a bit, and in a downtown section of town. Other reviews that said in a bad neighborhood, don't know what a bad neighborhood is. I think they are just scared of people of color. There are places to eat within walking distance. The pizza at the bar was pretty good. Not a vacation palace. But it is clean, the staff was great, and they put up with the band's crazy fans very well.

We walked in to people hanging around in and outside the building. The room smelled of clorox. Very old style room. Crying babies next door. Looked like an SRO hotel. Radio didn't work light bulb out, morning, shower head broke, flooded the bathroom. Checked out without staying the next night on reservation. You get what you pay for.

I've stayed here several times and have always been satisfied with the accommodations. Sure, the hotel is a bit run down. The bathrooms are small and the windows in the rooms are dirty. Apart from that, the rooms are reasonably spacious and the beds are comfortable. The WiFi is good and I've never had a bad experience checking in or out. The location is somewhat removed from the downtown area but is still walkable and the Healthline rapid transit bus has a stop right in front of the hotel. Parking is free. I don't think there's a more affordable option for a "downtown" hotel.

You get what you pay for. Decent value for the location. Bus system right outside door and runs every 15min downtown (10 min ride)

The room was dirty and smelled awful. I could barely breathe when I was in the elevator. It smelled like someone smoked in the elevator for a while. I've booked my room with breakfast, but they said that they no longer serve breakfast. The walls were so thin that I was unable to sleep due to the loud neighbors. It was definitely my worst hotel experience.

Tv did not work. Had to change rooms. Room had a small to it....like a skunk

Not clean starting with the hallway carpet. Sink faucet was loose. Attendant at desk was pleasant and helpful but it is clear the cleaning staff are not competent.

We decided at the last minute to spend the night in Cleveland. All other available hotels were 5 miles + outside. Sleeping in our SUV or a tent would have been a better option. Hall floors are disgusting. Breakfast is a joke. Even the coffee is bad. Rooms are from the 1950's with no upgrading. Windows wouldn't shut. AC was poor. BEWARE!

The hotel was easy to find and the staff was nice. The room was dirty. The shower was not cleaned and trash was all over the room.

Very convenient but need to work on the cleanlines

The water went out. When it came back on, it was brown. Room was clean, but the whole facility needs updating.

The good thing is that it's cheap. The breakfast is fine. Good staff. However, I didn't feel safe at night, some weird looking people.

Very friendly staff. Helpful folks work here. That is the extent of the positive attributes of this establishment. Dark. Dingy. Dirty. Decrepit. Peeling paint. In my opinion they haven't remodeled since the LBJ administration. If I were with my family I never would have even pulled into the parking lot. Close to downtown but did not feel safe on the 25 minute walk down Euclid towards downtown. You get what you pay for here.

Room is a bit scummy, little dirty. On the other hand, quite cheap. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Not the best neighbor hood either, but again..... You get what you pay.

Could have been a lot cleaner. Smelled of weed as soon as we walked in the door. Friendly staff and a shuttle to the game was a plus, but will find another hotel if I go to Cleveland again.

The staff did everything to help, the room was clean and comfortable.

We had a very bad experience here. We were followed while walking in the parking lot by a man who was begging for money. I ran back to get the motel manager and he came out and screamed profanities at the man in order to get him to leave the property. The motel is in a very bad area and not up to standards. Sheets were very wrinkled and the cleanliness in the lobby was not good.

This hotel met my expectations as far as having a place to sleep after a night out in Cleveland. It was by no means a place I'd want to stay for a vacation, though. It was obvious that many people who were there were there to party, and the hallways consistently smelled of smoke and were loud. That being said, I was still happy with the service at the front desk and I also really enjoyed the food from the restaurant.

The hotel was shabby and in need of renovation. The registration staff were friendly, but would not honor my employer's university tax exempt status. There is a paper at registration to write the make and license of your car with a notice that the hotel parking lot is not secure and you can park your car across the street in a secure lot. I was more concerned to walk back across the street in an unsafe place than to leave my car in their lot. The room was shabby and the air conditioner so loud it nearly prevented conversation on the phone, but there weren't bedbugs. I left early the next morning and did not eat or drink anything the hotel provided.

I think it lacks of cleanliness and maintenance. Also, there were a lot of noise in the hall and in other rooms. The continental breakfast was good but limited. The restaurant lacks of warmth.
