Let's first talk about what went well. The rates were great, BUT you get what you pay for. The location was superb, a lot of restaurants and shopping quite close.
Now, what didn’t go well. The overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke was horrendous. Staff allows people to smoke in their room. I'm guessing it is people who live in the hotel and/ or family/ friends of the owners. I heard people speaking in the native tongue of the owner which is from India. One of the owners had the audacity to tell me the cigarette smoke is from when people go outside to smoke then when they come back in the smoke smell that sticks to their clothes is what causes the smell. No, it wasn't. I have a photo of empty cigarette packs and I saw people smoking in their room, and in the halls.
The entire hotel needs an update.
They do have a washer and dryer but one of the owners decided to hijack the washer I was using to wash her own clothes, with mine. They ended up in several trash cans.
The ice maker on the first floor is still broken; it was broken in April. My husband stayed one night so he knew it was broken then.
Someone who lives there loaded up on breakfast foods and left none for anyone else, as the staff watched her do it.
The police were pounding on the door across from our room two days in a row looking for a male. He was in the room but he refused to answer the door.
They say they are pet friendly but there were no trash cans outside to throw away their waste. Don't stay here!!
