Aloft Cleveland Downtown

My one night stay was cool. I wish it had storage space to put clothes up and a smal bench just to put my bags on instead of the floor . Have a little more channels to choose from, from what they had to offer.

It was a great location and the hotel staff had toiletries that we needed during our stay which was helpful.

Hotel was within walking distance of rock hall, casino and next to The Flats. Somewhat inconvenienced with no hotel store to purchase toiletries. Walked 5 blocks to a drugstore. Temperature in room seemed to fluctuate-seemed always adjusting thermostat. Fridge was noisy. Would stay here again now knowing how to cool room properly. Staff friendly, didn’t use convenient shuttle but can also take free trolley around downtown.

Excellent full gym in the same building complimentary to hotel guests. Nice lake view. Room layout a little different than a std U.S. hotel..

We moved to this hotel after staying in a name hotel. The first hotel was not clean, did not have heat in the room, and had a horrible sewer smell for several hours. This hotel was clean. The people were awesome. We enjoyed it. When we had to extend our trip by one day, we elected to go back to this hotel. We will stay again.

Great location. I stay here a lot. Shuttle service within 5 miles so basicallly anywhere downtown.

Aloft offers the kind of customer service that loses customers. I will not consider Aloft in the future. They would not refund my money even when the situation of canceling was out of my control.

Almost always stay here when we come to town, location is good, price is right, rooms are well taken care of, staff is helpful and friendly. Not a luxury place, but we don't need that. very comfortable

The hotel is very modern in what used to be a gritty , working area, We walked to the Rock and Roll Museum and enjoyed seeing the ongoing changes happening in the downtown area. TheBrown's stadium is also close by. There were several places to eat near by and the staff was quite helpful.

When I arrived the atmosphere in the lobby was energetic, there was a bar, seating area and check in-all with guests milling around. Loved the style and use of lighting.

We love alofts, every city we go we will always stay there and they're always amazing, and they are a pet friendly hotel!

Fancy new pet-friendly hotel not far from downtown. Stuff was very helpful changing room to room with nicer view or describing local places to eat.

Great hotel...close to everything in downtown Cleveland

We loved it. Nice view of the river and Lake Erie. Close to R&R HOF.

We stay at Aloft frequently when we come to Cleveland. It's within walking distance of everything and it is very clean and modern. Always a great experience.

All perfect great place what a wonderful weekend will be back

We spent one night June22/23rd 2014, and were super impressed at this hotel's chic ambiance....but more so with the super nice/helpful staff members at the front desk. Thank you guys for making it such a great stay!

Really cool place. Short walk to warehouse district with tons of restaraunts and bars.

Just average. Staff overall were courteous, but nothing special. Room was clean, shower was nice. Got bounced around when called back to get a copy of my bill. It was fine, I guess I was expecting a little more.

My overall experience with Aloft Cleveland was positive. It's a beautiful, modern hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. My only issue is that I had originally booked and prepaid for my stay on April 15. My travel plans changed, so I had to change my stay to April 29. Since I had prepaid, Starwood would not allow a refund. I could understand (to a degree) if I had simply cancelled outright, but I didn't think it was fair to charge me if all I wanted to do was move my booking to a different date. My room with tax was about $180, but because I cancelled and rebooked, I ended up paying $360 for one stay.
