A gem of a place to stay with wonderful hospitality. A definite must to visit. Totally surprised me and exceeded expectations. Clean, spacious with all amenities and great coffee which is a must for me. Thank you Chuck and best of luck.
Top notch facility, a lot of detail went into the design of the building. Newly renovated, historical hotel with a modern twist. Comfortable, spacious, convenient and within walking distance of all good things downtown. The lobby and reception area draws you in; rooms are modern, spacious, comfortable, and all the local help was friendly and willing to help us navigate the town. So glad we found this place.
We booked to stay at the Travelers Hotel and could not have been more happy. Chuck is a perfect gentleman and his assistant Eleanor helped us find the best music events Clarksdale had to offer. Super clean, super informative and just... super. Clarksdale was one of our top highlights from our US tour and Travelers Hotel made it the best.
Second stay here. Nice and clean with an artsy vibe. Friendly staff and some interesting craft beers on tap in reception bar. Good location for Ground Zero blues club (3min walk) and Red’s juke joint. Free public parking across from hotel front.
The hotel offers a good alternative in the area. Basic, quiet, clean, easy check-in and out and good staff. We didn't have a problem to find free parking in the street, If in the area, I would enjoy to stay.
After staying here don’t think I could stay anywhere else in Clarksdale. They kept the “patina” on this old railroad employee hotel when it was remodeled. Great staff, great service, very clean and well run. Nice community kitchen area with espresso and keurig machines. Located close to most music spots and just down the street from Delta Blues Museum.
If you ever go to Clarksdale, a stay at the Travelers Hotel is a must! Clarksdale is on an upward swing in revitalizing its downtown area by capitalizing on its rich links to the Blues. Travelers is a fresh addition and anchor to the downtown area. Local artists' creations are displayed all throughout the hotel. Their friendly staff are the best! If you are not ready for a fun and exciting experience, then you best stay at the corporate chain. For me, I'm staying every time I come to town. There is one caveat: No TV (who needs TV?) They have excellent wifi, and rich conversation is available with guest, locals, and staff.
My stay at the Traveler’s Hotel was wonderful. Hotel is very comfortable and clean. Really kind and accommodating owners. Conveniently located within a few minutes walk to all the shops and music clubs. Would definitely stay again!
Safe, clean place with an interesting decor. Boutique may be an appropriate description. the parking area is out in the open. This building has been recently rehab'ed which makes it a real gem in this town that, umm, has a well worn downtown area. I am a middle aged middle class white male. 95% of the tourists looked exactly like me. I wasn't impressed.
Absolutely gorgeous place....high style, great showers, beds and bedding and products! Love the lobby bar, popcorn machine, art....great spot to take day trips to Oxford and Memphis and come back to clean, fresh place. Loved it and they welcomed our non-shedding Bichon!
