Reasonable rates. Didn’t need to book way in advance, and didn’t require more than one night stay. Close to Killington or Pico. If ur looking for a place to sleep for the night shower and hit the mts, this is ur spot.
This was a nice place and a good value for the area. Everything was a little dated but met all our needs for the weekend. We were up for a football game at Castleton so spent little time other than to sleep in the room so did not get a chance to use the amenities.
We stayed Thursday and Friday evening. We stayed in a room that had a king size bed and twin size bunks. The room is very spacious but awkwardly decorated. The bathroom offers a huge walk in shower but there was only one rain showerhead with minimal pressure and no shelves or bench in the shower ...
We were very happy with our room. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The location was excellent - close to the downtown shopping area and great restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. Woodstock is a lovely small Vermont town with tons of charm;the Inn's atmosphere is a perfect reflection ...
Great location to get to Killington ski resort. Breakfast is nicely done. The afternoon cookies are delicious. Staff works hard and arevery nice. The only negative I would say is some of the decor and room accessories (mirror and furniture) could use alittle tlc. Otherwise without a doubt a great ...

We had a pleasant stay at the North Star. Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was fine, everything we needed for our stay. Beds were so so. Outside pool was a plus, kids loved it - but at one time it was like spring break with young adults. We did not go, but it was nice to have bar and tavern up stairs. I would stay again, but probably only for a short stay.
The hotel was in avoid location, close to lifts, golf course, staff was very worm and friendly, hotel and bar in so no need to venture off, rooms were adequate for the stay
