Bed spread was stained, bathroom wall was stained. Not very clean. Bed was terrible. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Two tiny towels for two people, no shampoo for shower. I injured my knee and needed ice-Ice machine was not working on second floor- no elevator. Reservations suggested that “Breakfast” was available but when I asked- it was “coffee would be available”
convienance and availability
The room looked clean although out of date but on closer inspection the shower and the bathroom floor didn’t look like they had been cleaned since the last occupants due to the amount of hair on the floor and in the shower. It was even worse in the bed with hair being on the pillows and on the sheets. Good thing we only stayed one night. The complimentary breakfast was lackluster with only bagels and bread, waffles, and cereals being offered and the only eggs that were available were hard boiled. I would have liked more variety and more of a supply of yogurt and milk.
Room was clean. Smelled a bit of disinfectant. Parking lot is a minefield of potholes that will kill your tires. Coffee at breakfast was very weak (lighter than weak tea), but there is a Denny’s next door, and a Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks down the street.
Room smelled musty, curtains were barely hanging, smoke detector was hanging from wall and wrapped in a plastic bag, bathroom had mold.
Very outdated facility (rooms) with poor service for a name like Wyndham and the price paid.
Short ride to the ski slopes plenty of dinning choices in the area
The bed was comfortable and the price was very competitive. Unfortunately the room was very dirty and had an odor. Staff was friendly.
Pool was closed for Covid-renivations? The so called breafast was coffe and afew apples with a granola bar, must be Covid rations? The night desk person putty out salt and peper, No sweetner ir creamer? Brakfast was very diapointing.
Smelly trash at entrance to back door. Bed looked like it had been slept in then made up. Door frame broken. Door barely in place. Anyone could get into room. Blinds on window broken. Ended up not staying it was such a mess.
Nice and convenient place to spend couple nights while in Rutland Vermont :-)
Nice room. Clean. No breakfast option bc of covid. Pool was being repaired.
Very friendly staff. Understandable that some amenities (pool) not available as we return from COVID
You get what you pay for in staying here. It’s the most basic accommodations you can get for a ski weekend but the place is old and very run down. But for $76/night, I wouldn’t expect much more than that however it should’ve been cleaned better which it wasn’t. I imagine that’s due to a lack of personnel because we ever saw anyone other than a day time and night time front desk clerk.
The room is good size. However we found small bugs in the bathroom. The staff at check-in did not inform us no breakfast. Understand that is due to COVID 19, but it would still be better to inform customers upfront, especially we came from another hotel which still serves breakfast.
Good stay. The bag breakfast (no hot breakfast due to Covid) was very skimpy
Hotel was outdated. The room asked for was a non smoking but you could smell cigarette smoke in hall and the room. Curtains had mold stains on them. There wasn’t anything close to do stuff.
Positive: Nice size room and comfortable beds at a great price. Very good customer service. Negative: Bathroom door and woodwork needing cleaning. Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, faucet missing filter screen insert causing it to leak back on itself and the unit window was filthy. Even with the negatives we would stay there again.
