Overall the house was in a beautiful and convenient location. The best parts were the deck, the view, and the dock. It’s a stellar view, and a very peaceful time spent outside. The estimate that the house sleeps 8 seemed optimistic; full beds only fit one adult each but they were comfortable and clean. There were some nice lounging spaces both upstairs and down.The home itself was comfortable enough but dated and in need of updates and repairs, as well as a few additional basic conveniences, specifically in kitchen supplies. The frying pans were peeling, for example, and there were no cutting boards. The outdoor grill was rusty. It was frustrating that we couldn’t open the upstairs windows—they seem to be painted over. We made do. Seaside Vacations were responsive. They hadn’t left the starter bag of soap and TP, so we did have to call and request, but they dropped it off immediately. There were a few things around the house that needed repair; we reported them and they offered to send someone out that day (but since we left the following day we chose to defer until after our stay). Overall our stay was fine and family friendly, but we would probably choose somewhere else next time.
