Bed was really hard. We have seen this complain before when we read the reviews of the hotel, but we (my husband and I) enjoyed the hotel a lot, if only the bed would have been more comfortable, it would have been perfect!

The staff were welcoming and on top of things. It was super hot and our A/C was not working. The staff moved us to an alternate room fairly quickly where we were able to get the room cooled down. We are very thankful for the quick adjustment. The restaurant is comfortable, reasonably priced and fairly good. The staff are very efficient.

Pros: Friendly staff. Close to Chichen Itza with 10 min drive. Good restaurant across the street - Las Mestizas. Pretty town. Friendly people. Cons: Staff couldn't understand English well. Room was not quite clean. No heater. Clogged toilet. There was no staff at the front desk when we arrived there late at 2:30 am because of the delay flight. However, when we gave up and were about to drive away to find another accommodation, a staff walked to our car and helped us to get to the room. We really appreciated!

When we arrived I tried to use my reservation email, viewed from my iphone, to prove our confirmation/booking info and Marcelano would not accept it and said he needed a print out. He was very unaccomodating, and so I tried to email it to him and it wouldn't go through to the hotel email. He was not going to let us check in and would not change his mind. I then asked if I could use his computer to log into my email account and he could print it out and he said no. After 20 minutes of trying to email it from my phone a coworker convinced him to let me use the hotel computer to print out the confirmation. Marcelano nearly caused us to drive two hours back to Cancun that night.
