nice bedroom, great shower- bed was wonderful, great size room

The room looks pretty old and the wall AC was too Noisy Overall I wouldn't stay there Again

Nice location. Morning breakfast was very good and had a nice selection.

I have stayed at the Quality Inn in Wisconsin before and it was excellent. This one in particular was kind of a disappointment. I stood in room 227 when i walked in (it smelled like a litter box of cats was just cleaned out, the sink was dirty on the top rim) The day of check out which was Sunday July 1st, i came down for breakfast which was ok. I asked the person at the front desk for towels, he said he will have someone bring them up. It was 9am. and i checked out at 12pm and the towels never arrived and i did not even get an apology. The price was ridiculous and the service was horrible. Will NOT come back to that one Quality Inn.

Nice, clean room. Helpful staff and great location.

The hotel is decent and fairly clean. It was quiet and free from any partys. The breakfast was the major downside I did not expect much but the food was rubbery.

Easy in and out. Rooms are good size and comfortable. Nice continental breakfast.

This hotel was great. Our room was very clean, the hotel staff was friendly. Can't beat free breakfast and a great room for $69/night. We were minutes away from the family we came to visit, the hotel was easy to find and everything during our stay was perfect. Definitely a place we will stay again when we visit Elgin!

The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of electric outlets for charging devices.

Just because you get a smoking room doesn't mean it should be a dump--especially for nearly $90 per night. The fridge had dents in the door, the blankets and furniture all seemed to be in excess of 30 years old. The sink faucet drain was broken and the faucet itself was too small for the sink, the spout so far inward that you could barely get your hands underneath the water to wash them. There was long hair in the bathtub that didn't belong to me. There was an upholstered chair so filthy I dared not sit in it. The bed was uncomfortable. The lamp shade had water stains. I felt like I was in a $30-per-night fleabag motel. When they say breakfast is over at 9:00 AM take their word for it. My husband went down to get coffee for us in the morning just at 9:00 AM, and they were literally taking the pots away as he was pouring. Another thing that made me suspicious: Although we had prepaid for the room, the hotel clerk asked to see my credit card and drivers license, and then proceeded to make a photocopy. I objected telling her that this was how identity theft happens. She said it was company policy and it was for "incidentals." Now, there is no restaurant, no pay-per-view, nothing--so exactly what "incidentals" could there be? I demanded that the photocopy of my credit card be returned to me. She said I could have the photocopy of my DL when we checked out. I went back to get the DL photocopy, only to discover that these photocopies were kept right behind the check-in counter, easily accessible to ANYONE who wanted to reach over and grab them. Not secured at all. Stay away.

When we got there got check in ok. Desk clerk gives us our keys to room 207. Put key in slot and opened door. Much to our surprise the room was a mess, big pile of cables, open soda cans and furniture up side down on top bed. I went down to the desk and said that this was not a very funny joke He assured me that it was not a joke and said he was very sorry. He went to the computer to find us another room which he did. We were supposed to get a room with a king size bed., we ended up getting a room with a double size bed. When I was at the desk a man was there I think was the manager and he said that we went to the wrong room as this (room 207) was used for storage. And I said if this was the wrong room how come the key let me open the door. So finally after we got settled in a different room (121) we went to bed and much to our surprise we were wakened by a loud noise and flashing lights. It was the fire alarm ( 4 A:M) My wife ran out the room and went to the front desk and asked what was going on and she had a hard time understanding the man at the desk To her it sounded like he said it was a fourth alarm. After asking him a couple a times he wrote on as piece of paper it was a false alarm. Finally we got back in bed and I had a very hard time going back to sleep. In the morning when I got up I went to the front desk and asked if they found out what caused the alarm to go off.. And I was told it was because some one was taking a very hot shower and left the door opened and the heat from the hot shower set the alarm off. Being a former fire fighter I found this very hard to believe. After we ate and went to where we were going for day every thing was working out just fine until we went back to tried to get into our room and you guessed it we could not get into our room. So back to the front desk I went and was told either my cell phone or my GPS deactivated the code on the key. So the desk clerk reset the keys and they were ok. We made through the night got up and left for home. Thanks: Tim

Fair price for a decent room and a good night's sleep.

Everything was fine room was clean and staff was good. The problem I had was the ac blew it hour air at times really didn't want to change rooms move my stuff our have someone fixing stuff in the room just dealt with it so I have to say average

The fitness room was very unimpressive but for the price the experience was overall a good one.

The hotel's Wi Fi system was intermittent, even with the help of the Building Engineer. They do serve a good breakfast and it's a good location adjacent to I-90.

I was given a handicapped room, which I did not request. I did not have an issue with this until the next morning of my departure date. I could not get the shower to work. Water came out, but could not work the "dials" to have shower head work. Washed my hair hanging over the tub. When I called the front desk for assistance, realized that the phone did not work--"was dead". Should receive some sort of discount for this type of poor room amenities.

Needs a serious makeup. Location is great but it's long overdue for a rehab.

For what we needed in our short stay, everything was perfect.
