Not crazy about casinos but Location was convenient .

The room was large, clean, and the bed was great. The staff was courteous and accommodating! I recommend staying here.

No microwave in the rooms. Air vent right by my door blowing hard and cold. I had to hold the button for my shower and the tub wouldn't drain. The guy who checked me in talked way too fast and soft. Couldn't hear or understand him. Even told him that.

The room was large and nicely appointed, but the experience of comfort was reduced by how much we could hear our neighbors. In the hotel and the casino the staff were very friendly and helpful; from the valet parking to the restsurant staff everyone was a efficient and courteous. For a smaller casino, the floor was nicely laid out, the atmosphere was free if smoke, and the bathrooms and gaming were clean.

We had excellent service from the staff. Upgraded to a VIP room. Room was clean and for the most part quiet. Housekeeping started early and you can definitely hear them in the hallways. Shower curtain liner needed replaced. Overall though a nice, quiet, clean room for the money. Would stay again for sure!

Overall very positive experience I really love liked my room. My next trip is in April definitely will book the same hotel. Only a bad thing was that Iost $70 in casino that is just a joke

It was a good hotel and the staff was great. If you stay here definitely check out Flavors Buffet the food was excellent.

Awesome rooms, great atmosphere with the casino! We loved staying at the hotel and going to the casino.

The Harrah's hotel and casino in Joliet, seemed tired. We reserved a handicap room, but when we arrived, there was only one and it was connected to an ajoining room that was so noisy we had to leave it for a regular room. Apparently there was a remodel at some point, but when I asked for a map of the place, the staff responded that the hotel didn't make new ones. So, I had no idea where any of the restaraunts were located and had to go walking to find out. I discovered that the three advertised restaruants were the fine dining, (hamburger 16 dollars, steak, over 40) the buffet (22.00) and much more food than we requred, and a diner. To reach the diner you have to walk completely through the casino to the back. There is no other way to get to it. It is basicly bar food, and not many provisions for someone with diabetes. Not even ice tea. When I checked the room service it was the exact same menu as the diner, plus a 5 dollar delivery charge. When I asked the staff where to eat outside the casino, no one seemed to know of a single place that wasn't miles away. I am glad we were only passing though for a night. It was draining for my handicapped wife as well as myself. We will think twice before ever booking a room in a Harrah's again.

Great value and amenities. Very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the buffet. I wish the steak restaurant was open when I visited.

I enjoyed my time here at this hotel. I'm definitely going back next week with my boyfriend. The rooms were immaculate and beautiful.

It was a very relaxing trip. The buffet was great, the staff housekeeping did great, and were very nice and professional. I'll be back.

For this hotel being directly connected to the Casino there was really nothing special about it. The nicer restaurant to choose from was not open for most of our stay and the other choices were a buffet or a diner. The city itself had nothing going on and it not a very safe area! The rooms were spacious though and we enjoyed that part of our stay!

Below is my summary of our experience: - casino is very small and crowded - rooms are nice but are way overpriced for being an hour from Chicago -charged us a $10 early checkin fee for arriving at 230pm instead of after 4pm - would not let any Canadians into the casino even if they had government issued ID - the few Canadians that had their passports and that were allowed in were later asked to leave the casino. the manager on duty actually said "anyone that is Canadian should leave" Finally, I would never go back and was extremely insulted by the manager on duty. All of this happened while we were there for a local CAN-US wedding. We were even there with members from the local police force and were still treated this way. What a joke of a casino!

I drove 2600 miles in 5 days and stayed at 4 hotels, all roughly the same rate. And for this rate, I'll say Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel offers noticeably better amenities. Room is clean and nothing looks torn or beaten. Minus one star because when the staff noticed that I would only stay for one night (hence would not contribute to their revenue through gambling), they lost passions and their facial expression switched to dull business mode.

I made a reservation for a smoking room. Upon check in I was told I made the reservation for a non smoking room. I rechecked my reservation and sure enough it was for a smoking room. I complained to the management and nothing was done. There was only one smoking area in the casino. So, when not in the casino, I had to go outdoors to smoke, and couldn't smoke by the hotel doors, so had to stand on the corner to smoke. This was not in a good part of town so this made me very nervous. Also, there was hair in the bathtub shower combination. I asked several times to speak to a manager and it took several requests for this to happen. I would never consider staying there again.

The hotel staff is friendly, the room is fresh and clean, our check in and check out was very smooth, and I really like the enclosed walkway from guest parking to the hotel.

Room was big, clean. Bathroom with separate toilet room. Pillow was ok, a little too soft. Complains: WiFi not working, TV remote not working, water not cleaing fast when shower.

The room was..more than expected.. the new buffet resturant..... DELICIOUS!!

Great location close to I 80 rooms vary comfortable staff vary friendly and the restaurant Buffy will be complete shortly . Great for the business traveler like me . Will keep on using them and tell all my associates. Mel
