Hop Inn for clean and pleasant stopover.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean rooms with air-con. Nice touches with bottled water left in the room each day and free coffee provided in the lobby from 6-11am. WiFi provided. Microwave available for ready meals provided in freezer unit. Intended for short stays so no cupboard available for unpacking suitcases. Also no safe for storing valuables. Centrally located with easy transport links to tourist sites. Open access to swimming pool in nearby hotel at low cost. Very competitively priced. Pleasant 13 night stay.

Great little no frills hotel

This hotel is almost brand new. Very nice, many parking spaces. Rooms are adequate enough for the price. No breakfast provided though. Right opposite Central Plaza. Walking distance to Maya Chiang Mai.

GOOD LOCATION AND CLEAN ROOM.

I stayed here for 2 nights. New Build, room is clean. Housekeeper, They are clean up everyday. I like it. But,It's hard to sleep. Because, i heard sound from the pub. Loud and noisy and closed too late. Then in the morning, i heard sound of building. They start work at 8 am. it was really wake me up in the morning. I'm not ok with it. 1 elevator for use in the hotel, i got one time. It wasn't work. So, i had to walk to 4 fl.

Hidden Gem

Hop Inn has great staff and great rooms. Only a 5 minutes walk from the old city. We loved their attentiveness to our questions, and were happy with how they set up travel tickets to Pai for us, since the bus company's call centre did not speak English. The beds are super comfy, and the showers nice and hot. We enjoyed the delicious free coffee in the mornings.

Good, Clean, Budget - couldn't ask for more

Booked on Expedia found that the weekday rate is affordable. The room came with small balcony, clean bed room, nice bathroom. There are 2 towels, bath gel, shampoo provided. 2 Bottle of water daily, the bed is comfort enough not like other budget hotels with the same price range. Many parking space. If you don't drive, you can walk to the main street in 5 mins. There's no convenient store around but lots of shops to buy some food. The location is not too far from Nimman Road. If you wanna walk to MAYA department, it takes you 10-15 mins.

Just what I needed

Other reviewers have said the staff don't speak English, but I found that they spoke enough to be both competent and friendly in their duties. The hotel is new and is in an area convenient to both the Old City and Nimmanhaemin. There are lots of places to eat nearby.

Great Value for No Frills Hotel

Look, this is a no frills hotel. However, for the price the value is great. It's a small and simple room with very little character. But he place is super clean, the bed was great to sleep on, the air conditioner worked, the wifi was solid, and there was plenty of natural light. If all you are looking for is a nice place to rest your head, Hop Inn is awesome. If you want other amenities (ex. pool, restaurant) or your trying to impress your partner, then look elsewhere.

Perfect for the budget traveler

Hop Inn is the perfect choice for a budget traveler. The rooms are clean with drinking water provided daily and the WiFi is excellent. There are a couple of shopping centres nearby and plenty of restaurants in the local area. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the Night Bazaar area but there are also bikes available to rent if preferred. We would definitely stay here (or in other Hop Inn's) again.

Clean, standard modern rooms

Hop Inn is fine for a few days or for an 'airport' hotel. Reminds me of the basic Travelodge chain in the US and Australia. Clean, bright modern - just standard room and bathroom. My only suggestion is that they need an English/News channel on their TV service - otherwise all good.

Convenient and new budget guesthouse

Check-in process is efficient and the room is big enough and bright. Shower is good with shower gel and shampoo provided. Unfortunately, the headboard is very dusty and some hair was found on the beddings. I had the feeling that the beddings have not been changed before I moved in. But the price is cheap and I would still choose this convenient guesthouse and hope that the above-mentioned can be improved next time.

Good location, Worth and Safe

Locate in convenient area but quiet, easy to go out for ancient city and Nimman rd., tons of parking lots, 24/7 access control by keycard. Area improvements are internet stability and numbers of TV channel.
