Wow! A simply amazing Hotel. Beautiful rooms, very well equipped and staff are very efficient. Gorgeous gardens, delicious food leave nothing to be desired. Situated close to all shopping and markets makes this Hotel a Winner!

Beautiful property, everyone there was very welcoming and helpful. The bar was a really cool place to hang out in AC. Lunch/Dinner menu was delicious! Would def recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

As there is not separate page for the restaurant itself I figured I'll write this on here. We had the set menu here a part of a viator tour and it was so good. We got there about 6ish and we had the whole dinning room to ourselves. Lovely decorations around the room, very high ceilings and a lot of light. The set menu included 4 courses and a range of food from soup to prawns to curry. All of it tasted so good and nothing was similar to the next dish, it was a real treat. Our waitress Fah (I think that was her name) seemed like the nicest person in Thailand which is very impressive in a country of very nice people and she was very good and attentive to us. Try and eat here even if you're not staying at the hotel.

I recently stayed at the 137 Pillars combining work with pleasure. It is an incredible hotel--intimate yet with all the services of the best five star hotels in the world. The staff is constantly trying to make sure you have a perfect experience. My butler prepared a bag the night before of towels and shampoo and body wash for a planned visit to an elephant rescue farm (I was going to bathe an elephant.) Breakfast was lovely, with an incredible choice of food. The grounds are beautiful. And the rooms are incredible. There is a great small gym and the hotel is within walking distance of the old city but in a quiet location. If you go to Chiang Man and want a boutique luxury experience, stay here!

I was greeted in both a professional and warm manner by firstly the car park attendant then the staff at reception. I went for lunch, the coffee was great and my food was also decent. The staff were very friendly and organised when they were there, but my complaint about this visit is that I was left for long periods of time in the restaurant and had to wait over 10 minutes to order my 2nd coffee and that only came because I had to go and search for someone. I'll put this down as a one off experience and I will give it another go at a later date because I enjoyed my experience apart from the lack of attention when I needed it, and this is classed as a 5 star establishment so I did expect better than what I experienced.

I have to say a huge thank you to everyone at 137 Pillars. I don't think my wife and I have ever enjoyed a stay in a hotel as much as this. The hotel is absolutely stunning, rooms are beautiful and the staff could not be better. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff especially Toto who went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. He was such a big help and a credit to the hotel. All of the staff that we encountered were so nice and went out of their way to chat and help out. This is one of those places where the word no is not in the vocabulary of the people there and where a staff member knows what you need before you even ask! The only negative was that the position of our room was close to the bars next to the river which meant that we could hear the music and noise until around 1 am every day. This detracted from the relaxing feeling of the place and meant that I had to use ear plugs every night. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return (hopefully to a room further away from the bars).

This is truly a boutique luxury hotel. Wonderful and restful. The property is absolute beautiful and unique. The evenings are so relaxing sitting out on your porch with its enormous day bed and smelling the incense perfuming the air while looking at the twinkling candles and torches lighting the property. The staff was profession, courteous and wonderful. I got my best Thai massage in ThIland at the spa. The restaurants served delicious food. All in all a wonderful stay. I would definitely go back

This is a gem of a hotel. Upon getting there, you go through a little alley way and think, okay where are we....... when you arrive, it truly is an AHHHH moment. The entire staff is so delightful, so kind, so helpful and so pleasant it is amazing. We arrive at night and the property was beautiful, the lighting the plants, it truly feels like you are in another world. we had two rooms and were a party of six. We arrived after 20:00 and checking in, and had dinner at the property, which was wonderful, great food and great service. The rooms were very spacious even with the extra bed. There were fresh fruit in our room and they have complementary tea and coffee that you can make. The little patio balcony veranda outside of our room was so lovely, it had a celling fan and at night coils were lit to ward of the bugs. We had breakfast included and it was so so good, fresh fruit, fresh baked bread, yogurt, muesli, soup, omelets made to order, coffee latte, fresh squeezed vegetable and fruit juices, anything really, it was delicious. We had a sunrise tour at 4;45 am and they even packed us a breakfast to go with coffee and steamed milk, so good...... The pool was fabulous, we hung out there one afternoon and loved the green wall...... they provided sunscreen and towels. We also arranged pick up from and to the airport. It was the best, we originally booked it through another services but our flight times kept getting changed and we thought it just got to complicated so we arranged it through he hotel and it was so easy because they had our flight information and were able to make adjustment accordingly. As we left for our early morning flight they again provided us with a breakfast to go, so so nice. The only small thing I could say is that the water never got really super hot for a bath or shower, but my husband said the outside shower provided hotter water and I did notice that was true, so I wish I would have taken an outside shower sooner than the last day. Love love this hotel and definitely plan on going back someday.

We stayed in the stunning 137 Pillars for 5 nights on our first trip to Chiang Mai. We booked a hotel taxi pick up as we had a lot of luggage. If this is important to you the quality of service at this hotel was exceptional and we could not fault a thing. Mig who greeted us was so helpful with all the information about our transfer, hotel room and the hotel. We had a butler assigned to us, Toto who was always there being so helpful with anything we needed & information about Chaing Mai. The hotel can organise Tuck Tucks to pick you up from the hotel and also sent us a list of places to eat via Whats App to my phone. We even asked for help when we were out sightseeing and had WIFI to connect with the hotel. We organised an Elephant Trip to Elephant Nature park and the hotel provided us with complimentary towels and washed our shoes for us after being in the river! There are a number of places to eat very close to the hotel and also a few bakeries. Those we visited were Hinlay Cafe, Woo Restuarant, Sala restaurant as well as the hotel dining room which is lovely. The hotel was peaceful and quiet as it is situated out of the old city walls but this means a full nights sleep away from the hustle and bustle, however still so close to all the sightseeing places. The hotel has a lovely pool probably about 50 metres long, croquet and a gym all of which we used. The breakfast is amazing - lots of delicious Asian food and all the usual Western breakfast dishes if thats what you prefer. The rooms at the hotel are immaculate and beautifully decorated in Asian style and maintained to a high standard. The balconies have large day bed seating areas perfect for watching sun come up or go down! The bathroom is just gorgeous with inside and outside rain showers, bath and lovely Thai toiletries. The main pavillion of the hotel which holds the history is a well preserved Teak House, so wonderful to see, a perfect place to drink Gin and Tonics as the sun sets! Loved this hotel, would definitely return and couldn't fault a thing!

The staff of this hotel is rude & mean on the first step I went inside the hotel they can to cargue more . We are a group of 5 we booked 2 rooms advance paid they want to charge extra for the bed when I said no they told me charge extra for the breakfast. The thing is that they wanted to charge more. Of course I didn't pay more I show my reservation that said 5 people 2 rooms.. They treat the guest as we are no value to the hotel....
