We took a city break as we had never visited Chester before. The City has a lot to offer and at Christmas the lights and atmosphere are wonderful. The Hotel was chosen on line and an excellent choice. Service was faultless, from the door staff, reception, catering and room. We are already looking for dates to return. The only, if minor comment, would be that the breakfasts would sometimes come out warm or cold, something I noticed other guest commenting on and returning their food. This, however, did not spoil the experience, but something for the hotel to note.
Excellent ! I cannot fault the staff, their attendance to detail is amazing. Anything that you needed was sorted with little fuss, the food in La Brasserie was delicious, a truly memorable occasion for myself and my husband.
This is the fifth time we have stayed at The Grosvenor. As usual it was a thoroughly enjoyable, but expensive, stay! Pure luxury. Service , food and room were all wonderful and we are planning our return trip for next April.
Perfect location in the centre of Chester the service and ambience reflect the prices but it enables you to enjoy London quality in the North It is right on the main shopping part with historic buildings close and within yards of the city walls which are lovely to walk on Car parking behind the hotel at reduced rates Valet parking available
Love the luxury of this hotel and the friendly staff. Service is excellent. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfy. Stay here every year on a Christmas shopping trip. Location is perfect. Cant fault anything about this hotel. The door staff and porter are just lovely!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Chester Grosvenor, a real treat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. What a splendid hotel this is. Although the view from our window wasn’t special the hotel was.
Another excellent break at the Grosvenor, a superbly run hotel in a great location. Can't recommend it enough. This is the fourth pre-Christmas weekend break my wife and I have taken at the Grosvenor and will defiantly be returning.
Stunning trip, stunning hotel. Facilities are excellent, whole hotel beautifully bedecked for the festive period. Given an upgrade to a superb 4-posted suite; everything quite magnificent in every single way, and we shall be back. Not many hotels in the world (and I say that having travelled extensively) that operate to this outstanding level.
Excellent stay and an enjoyable visit to Chester as well. The room and service at the hotel was very good with the room being very clean and having everything we needed supplied. The staff were all attentive and very helpful when needed. Although we rarely go back to the same place twice we would not hesitate recommending this hotel to others
This is a very opulent hotel in the most fantastic location in the centre of Chester. We parked in the multi story car park and entered through the back door. Check in was easy and efficient. We were shown to our room. While there was no view from the room, it was spacious and very comfy. There was a separate hallway where the wardrobe and complementary tea/coffee were. An odd situation - no socket for the kettle??? Bathroom was clean and luxurious. Breakfast (continental) was brilliant. Freshly squeezed orange and pastries and toast! We didn’t choose the upgrade to a cooked breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Air con was quite loud and the usb socket didn’t charge my phone! But I’m being picky. Would love to come back
