Stayed as my office was close by and has the metro railway station is next door. Overall the ambiance of the lobby and restaurant for breakfast was good. The staff looked like they did not track what the guest asked for and you need to follow up.

Stayed for a couple of nights. This was the second stay in the same hotel. The hotel is in par with international standards. The exec lounge is a good place to have your breaks, sessions. The restaurant manager ensure that you have a quality time. Overall great experience.

Hilton Chennai - Extremely amazing place to stay with great ambience and a delicious spread of breakfast. Swimming pool and GYM is well equipped, Metro at your footstep to reach any corner of the city (where applicable) and finally very near to IT corridor and making it great place to stay.

We had one of the worst and difficult times hosting our wedding reception here right from the start especially with our event manager Mr.Tajuddin who is extremely unfriendly and impolite. None of our requests were entertained and we didnt even get proper responses from this guy after paying advance. We tolerated everything as this was a wedding reception and we didnt want things to be screwed up for the big day. But that was a mistake in hindsight. this guy took a leave on the event day and neither did he inform us nor did he give responsibility on the day to anyone else. we had a difficult time to even get our change rooms on the day of event. The choice of the deserts for our event was different than what we had chosen. A summary of what to expect if you host a event here 1. Rude and unfriendly behaviour. 2.a no to everything u ask for (no photos before the event outside the banquet hall, you cant choose the day of food tasting before the event as per your convenience , you cant taste all food before the event, no information on the sequence of event on the day, no info about even things that even hilton offers like honour points etc... so forget about complimentary things). Guys its a strict no no for anyone hosting your even here. STAY AWAY!!!

The hotel is, as per hilton standards, very very good. For everything, services, food, rooms, staff etc. Pretty next to the airport, only 15 minutes driving with few traffic (usually I arrive and go back on late night) Thank you and see you soon.

- efficiency for check in and check out - large buffet for the dinner with local and international food - rooms are quite and well organised - close to airport so within 15 min if not a huge traffic jam

Wonderful hotel with probably the best staff I have encountered in two trips to India. This place is an oasis in a bustling city always on the move. Our room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. We ate in both restaurants and recommend them both. The Indian restaurant Ayna was the pick of the two with Indian food of the highest quality. The hotel is conveniently located close to the metro and only 2 stops away from the Forum shopping mall which is great for shopping and eating. The buffet breakfast has to be seen to believe with a huge variety of both western an Indian food. This is the place to stay in Chennai!

Had the opportunity to dine in Vascos at the behest of my husband. Fabulous is one word that can sum up my experience. The ever attentive wait staff, chefs eager to provide suggestions & recommendations, salads stacked in beautiful rows, perfectly roasted carving meats, mouth-watering grills, chefs slicing away plump salmon for sashimi and the pride they took in their creations, hats off to Hilton Chennai.

One of the best luxury hotels in Chennai. It is located between Chennai Trade Centre and Guindy Industrial Estate. It is closer to airport and has good connectivity through electric train and metro rail. Metro station entrance is just few yards from hotel entrance. Clean rooms and passionate staff are ready to help. Offers excellent food and banquet facilities.

I was at Hilton Chennai on work in November and when I found out that the location was Chennai or Tamil Nadu as it is known for Sri Lankans, I was apprehensive - How wrong I was! What I liked: + The hotel is about ten minutes away from the airport. Having landed at rush hour it only took about 25 minutes. + My Colleague and I were greeted just outside by the airport and I told him that we were probably mistaken for royalty. Kishore, the airport rep made us feel so by not even allowing me to touch my luggage and ensuring that I felt safe when I went into a small joint to get some currency converted. He ensured that we got the right amount of exchange and lead us to the hotel. + The hotel has a stunning lobby. The doormen were lovely, smiling and again extending the royalty treatment. + Gunja and Adhil gave me a warm welcome. Being a Hilton colleague from Sri Lanka I was amazed at how they smiled, helping me with deposits and checking in. + Faizal from Concierge was a star! If ever I go back to this hotel he would be the reason. From being patient enough to mark all the destinations I wanted on a map for a myriad of products, this fine gentleman walked me to the Metro station located 5 minutes away. I was blown away by his care and courtesy never even indicating that he wanted a tip. + Food and beverage was an experience on its own. For 4 days I ate Dum Biriyani and their Chicken Tikka. The breakfast service was lovely, always bringing me and extra croissant or telling me of more choices. + Metro stations are clean, very economical to travel. It's fairly new so does not connect with the entire city. + Shopping destinations are very close, you can get all you need from Malls like Forum and Phoenix. T Nagar can be accessed by car. + Discreet and efficient staff have your room made and turned down before you come, they even went to the extent of folding my balled-up laundry that was stashed in the cupboard. + The television worked well, it's a big LED TV. I was at Hilton Chennai on work in November and when I found out that the location was Chennai or Tamil Nadu as it is known for Sri Lankans, I was apprehensive. Even Indians I know have warned me against visiting the state and told me it was unclean, uncivilized and not safe for women. How wrong they were! They even went to the extent of folding some clothes which I had stashed away in a cupboard. + The In-Room Dining attendant was very hospitable. Each day as he brought my order he would ask if I was tired or if I had a busy day. Perhaps because of language barriers he didn't understand me but he made it look as if he understood and cared enough to know. What I didn't like: - As in most cases you find one rotten apple in a basket. It was unfortunate for me to have met whom I am assuming is their Front Office Manager (mature chap, I think his name is Anand) who was very brusque in his mannerism. Even at the point of check in, I asked if I can keep a US dollar deposit and he was refusing quoting a law. Perhaps it was true but I was taken back by his tone. Even at the point of check out, he called my room saying that I would be late for my flight and that my colleague had already checked out and if I was coming. It was a fact, I was late, but again his tone made me wonder if he was menopausal. Anyway, I had such an amazing stay I was determined not to have it ruined by one person. OVERALL: Do go there, for the best service levels, dining and amenities.
