I stayed with my family for one day, room which they have provided does not have enough capacity AC, we have to check out early, I have asked to please pack breakfast, after so much request they provided sandwiches but with rotten vegetables. Housekeeping Staff and front office behaviour is very good, but there are certain issues with management. Hotel location is also not appropriate. Think twice before planning to stay in this hotel with family. Don't go by photos on website.
It was nice experience checking in during midnight. The staff at the front desk was really nice and helpful for both of my experience. He gave me a lot of flexibility for late check out which provide an extra time for me to stay in hotel instead of airport. Mdazam Zham took me to my room and explain to me all detail of my room so I can clearly know about this room. He gave lots of hospitality makes you feel like you are at home. It was a great experience of staying here and will continue to stay here whenever I come to Chennai. The first time I lives here, the water temperature wasn’t stable but this time the problem wasn’t there so I assume the problem has been solved. The design of the showering place for this type of room need to be improved, water will go over the place during showering because there is no gap between the showering area and the toilet. What is good about the hotel: Close to the airport Clean rooms Courteous staff but need more training Value for money dining menu Pickup and drop What is not good about the hotel: Surrounding area Will we go there again? Yes
It is a relatively new hotel located conveniently close to Chennai International airport. They provide prompt airport pickup and drop facilities. The room was spacious and amenities and furnishings were of good quality being new. There is a decent restaurant with a good choice of menu. But the down-side was the service. The staff are possibly yet to be trained. All services including reception (for difficulty in locating the reservation on arrival and improper billing on departure), house-keeping (room not made up even till late evening) and restaurant (wrong item served) suffered badly. The hotel management reasoned that the staff are in the process of getting trained. They better set the house in order soon not to hurt an otherwise pleasant experience especially for transit passengers.
Just checked in to their room 208 around 4 hours before and it has been very smooth and excellent. The pick up was done very efficiently and completely helped with the luggage. Check in was very smooth and Suri showed the room and helped with our queries with the very polite lady at the reception. We went down to the hotel and were served everything hot and fresh with being very polite and courteous. Checking out tomorrow morning and staying here for only a night, but will surely come back for the experience we have had till now..a wonderful and clean place with wonderful people
NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED !!!! Room and Food was excellent, But the front office including Manager is worst, Had horrible experience while checking out. The manager was like a local goons. He tried to snatch my mobile while shooting the video. He was simply denying the invoice for 2 days and providing 1 day invoice. Not a courtesy to apology as well
The only reason to give an average rating to this hotel is the location, the facility of airport drop and the courteous reception staff. I dont have any other good things to say about the hotel. Stayed here for a night to catch an afternoon flight the next day. The room was ok. The bathroom was strange with no separation between the shower and the toilet. If you take a shower, the entire bathroom gets wet. Really poor architecture. The restaurant has a great ambiance but the food is nothing to write about. Though the a la care options are decent, my friend who had a Chicken Biriyani was bitterly disappointed. The worst thing about this hotel is the complimentary breakfast and I want to write a few things about it here: a) Some old guy looks over the breakfast arrangements and he will be consistently behind you looking at you what you are taking. Feels a bit intrusive. b) When I requested him for some hot vadas for myself, he said it cant be provided, i have to take the soggy ones which was lying in the buffet plate. This guy is quite rude and thinks whatever he says is right. c) They dont even offer filter coffee. I mean, in South India, tourists love to have filter coffee and here is a guy (the same old guy) who replied that we have paid lakhs of rupees to get the coffee machine and we need to have that only. I mean, what the hell...!! Did we suggest him to buy the machine??? Why is he telling that to us?? d) We ordered eggs (omelette) and it reeked of oil. This hotel can do so much better with some proper training to the staff as to how to behave in a better manner and how to be more professional!!
I had spent a week in India and was going to be flying out of Chennai Airport very early the next morning so wanted to stay near the airport with shuttle service. A friend who was from India was flying out the day before and had hired a driver for the 3 days. They dropped me off at this hotel to ensure I would be all checked-in and safe since I was now a solo female traveler and the driver was paid to come back after my friend was dropped off to the airport and take me around the local Chennai area, especially St. Thomas Mount National Shrine and the marketplace and then returning me back in the evening. The hotel is very clean. I had a quick check-in. The bellhop took my heavy luggage up the elevator as I believe I was on the 2nd floor. The key has to be placed in the wall panel which activates the power. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the room was since I read reviews stating it was small (umm, if you ever went to Paris, those rooms are small). There was bottled water, even an electric tea kettle with tea, etc. I had gone back downstairs to the lobby to wait for my driver. An hour went by, nothing, he wasn't picking up the texts. My friend that was at the airport couldn't reach him either. The General Manager of this hotel was really gracious, he even tried reaching him for me. So, unfortunately the hired driver decided to short-change his duty. I believe Mr. Mohammad is the GM, and he was really kind realizing what had happened. Since there were no more guests planned for flight arrivals until the evening, he spoke to his shuttle driver and gave a very reasonable rate for me to hire their driver to use their van for a few hours. When he found out that I would not be able to call his driver when I was on the street market because I didn't have a SIM card for my phone (my friend handled everything so I didn't need my phone), he lent me one of his young staff's phone. Wow!! The driver was very nice, didn't speak the best English but talk about caring, made sure the borrowed phone had his number on it in case something happened as due to the crazy traffic, I was to call around our meet-up time to let him know that I will be in front of our agreed upon location. I even had dinner at Spice Drop, the restaurant at the hotel. Oh my goodness, I had like three people waiting on me. I ordered way too much not realizing that what they were asking me were separate dishes and not options of a dish. Also, it's important to know their English won't be the best as I was asking not to have spicy food and though the entree wasn't, the peanut masala that I had, though delicious, gave me intense pains that night, due to the spicy or raw onions. However, the food was amazing and with my appetizer, two dishes and dessert was less than $10USD. Because I was leaving very early morning, I didn't get to have breakfast but wouldn't have been able to eat anything from the food I had the night before. The shuttle to the airport worked great. Check-out process was smooth and the person at the front desk was kind enough to lend me some paper as I wanted to write a note and leave some money for the young staff who had to live without his phone for a few hours the day before. If I ever have to travel to Chennai again, I would certainly stay here!! I was very impressed. Had an excellent experience here and very grateful for their incredible above and beyond customer service by the entire staff and especially Mr. Mohammad.
This is a NEW hotel and is extremely clean and well kept. I had the pleasure of staying here on arrival and today my departure day. The hotel itself is located in a very quiet area behind the airport. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The staff were very warm and the free breakfast perfect. I’m very happy about the complimentary shuttle as well later this morning. I would not feel comfortable hiring a cab for the ride. This is THE only place to stay for transit. The rates are amazing, and I glad I didn’t waste my money on nearby 5 star hotels. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed for his hospitality.
Very close to Chennai airport, we stayed very briefly here as we just needed somewhere to stopover en route back to London. We’d definitely stay here again. Clean, very efficient and warm, welcoming staff. Speedy check- in/ out. Baggage 🧳 taken to/ from room. Transfers from/ to airport efficient and friendly in great car. Fab and spacious room with gorgeous shower, bath, air con and everything you need. A take out breakfast ready for us to collect at 0500 in the morning. There’s a swimming pool and fitness centre which we didn’t get chance to use as we were only there for s few hours. Highly recommend!
