A good hotel for stay with your family....you have a pleasant atmosphere to stay there...staffs are good in helping us..a must visit hotel in chennai at a fair price....food is little costly but overall it is satisfactory
I've stayed in a number of the high end hotels in Chennai. We were going to be booked into the "usual" hotel (visible/close to the Park Hyatt) but it was full. And I'm glad it was! Right from the start the service was excellent. Our driver was waiting for us as we exited and we were leaving the airport within 3 minutes (normally it seems to takes ages for drivers from other hotels to get the car and make their way out of the airport). The drive to the hotel was quick and efficient. Checkin was ultra fast + friendly and our request for a late checkout was confirmed quickly without fuss. We dined in the hotel frequently over the time of our stay (6 nights/7 days) and always found the staff friendly and food excellent. As much as I love Indian food, I was pleased towards the end of our stay to be able to also get simple food like a King Fisher beer with a margherita pizza! The rooms were top class with every feature you could possibly want (plenty of bottled water and a Nespresso machine for those of us who want a regular caffeine fix!). And the staff were VERY friendly. They asked me one day if there was anything special I'd like in my room and I said "I love lots of bottled water" (got a bad habit of not drinking enough when I travel). Got back to my room that night and found there was 1 or 2 bottles within reach no matter where I was in the room 8-). And it's a BIG room! So - if you're travelling on business and want a stress-free hotel with professional yet friendly service, an excellent choice of food and drink, a room where you know you're in India due to the high quality, yet everything still seems familiar and you can relax when you get downtime, and of course a pool area with amazing views, then stay here. This will now be my hotel of choice when visiting our Chennai office.
Great experience from check in till check out, food was decent, improvement needed in ghost biryani. Room was perfect, missed flying elephant due to some private party. There used to good security guards with nice uniform and glasses, which added to the hotel , which is missing now
Very friendly and courteous staff. Helped in all the process and made the check-in and check-out very smooth. Since it was a short stay i could not use the pool, heard it was very nice on the top floor.Overall the stay here was excellent
Hotel with all you need... Great specious rooms, excellent choice of breakfast, Friendly staff, neatly maintained and a roof top swimming pool... Stayed for 2 days with my family and my kids loved the pool. Nice tasty food too...
Comfortable stay apart from home. Truly a wonderful experience you need to have in chennai. A wide variety of delicious food is served in the dining. Infinity pool is awesome. You can have one of the world's best Spa experience in Anthapura. A well maintained Fitness centre is available so that you can not miss the day to day workouts. Don't Miss to feel the Luxury.
Just got back from a wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt Chennai. Property was very clean and the rooms were quiet and clean. The staff were well trained and always focused on providing a great experience! I would definitely go back! (Stayed at another top notch hotel in Chennai but will return here in the future...)
This hotel and its sister hotel Hyatt Regency are both fantastic hotels, this one is slightly further out of town but not far at all and taxis are very cheap here. Everything about this hotel is fantastic, i am on the 7th Floor (two weeks in and two weeks to go), room is lovely, cannot fault anything about it, perfectly functional and i do a lot of work from my room for Indian and UK hours, staff are fantastic, pool on the roof is really nice. the bar is lovely and not too expensive, music can be very lous but they do have some great live acts, the regency has much more seating space in the lobby that here at the park which is better for meetings of a comfy seat for online meeting. wifi is very good, food is lovely, seriously nice hotel. one tip is to use OLA app for taxis, dead cheap and dead easy and stops tourist being ripped off and i prefer a Auto to get around in as more authentic. Regency is more of the business side of hotels, this is nicer and more luxury. would highly recommend even have in room ironing board and iron as well as nespresso coffee machine so nice not to have to call reception for those things, little things all add up to the overall package
The front office staffs were lack of training, struggled during check in process consequences of that was they were bothered us multiple times to pay the in room dining bill despite of credit card authorise during check in. Food was ordinary, doesn’t fit Hyatt standard.
Good ambiance and supporting staff but food taste can be improved. Located in the heart of the city and just 30 mins drive to the airport and other important places of the city. They have 24X7 restaurant and may be they can make their biryanis bit more flavorful.
- Free WiFi and wired Internet in rooms and public areas
