Unfriendly staff, very old, dated and worn furniture. Not sure if sheets were dirty or just discolored from aged. There were bags of trash In the hallway. 1 “working” ice machine that was filthy. Custodian closets wide open, but you sure didn’t see any evidence of cleaning. We did NOT stick around for breakfast.

We arrived after driving all day after 6pm and our room had not been cleaned yet. We checked in and went out to eat and they said they would get it ready for us right away. When we came back at 9pm my youngest kids were first to our room (they like to use the key cards). They came running out and said someone was in there. A bag was on one bed, other bed was unmade and shower was running. They were short staffed so it took till after 10pm to get in our room. We were told there were no others available with 2 beds and no other hotels in surrounding area had rooms available. When we finally got in the room it was gross. In fact, all the photos when I booked it were from some other place. It was a joke. There was food on the floor, bathroom had no towels, tv remote had dead batteries, no coffee in the morning, crumbs in bed. We brought in blankets from the car and slept on top of the bedding. I ran down to get towels and it took 45 minutes to get them out of the laundry. By this time it was close to midnight. Don't ever stay there.

Liked everything but the fact that we did not have anyone come in and clean the room and leave towels

The hotel went through an extensive rehab and the outside looks nice. Major upgrades for bathrooms, sinks, etc. our room had a missing smoke detector ( exposed wires hanging from junction box) and had broken drawers hanging. The hotel was sold out so no real options to change rooms. Main lobby and breakfast area had two huge commercial hot water heaters sitting on pallets waiting to be installed. We stayed one night and the value was not there. I politely asked for some sort of compensation for the poor condition of our room and was told we booked through a third party site and they could not do anything for us. I chose not to argue and moved on. Quality Inn was NOT Quality today.

We were VERY happy with our stay here. Upon arrival everything was great. the check in was smooth with friendly staff, Toya? was very friendly and helpful. She went to check our room was good while we unloaded our stuff. They always greet you when coming in. Room was nice and cool. Clean. Frig cold. Grounds were well kept. Sadly due to Covid no breakfast or pool. But they did have ice cold water and cookies in the evening. Our tub was so well cleaned that it was actually slippery :O but when I asked for a mat to help I got one right away. One thing we noticed and VERY appreciated we could NOT hear our neighbors. no tv sounds, no voices. No ceiling noises from the above floor. This is maybe one of the first times that has happened. The only time we could hear people was this adorable little girl running down the hall laughing. The hotel was sold out so yes we had neighbors. Will for sure stay here again on our next trip to Chattanooga.

I got this room off the Orbitz site and the picture was not the room I got when I got there. The wrong picture was on the site for the price however, they gave me the room that I actually wanted for a small price difference. However when we checked out they did not charge us the difference. The room was great it was not noisy like some reviews had said even though it was fully booked. We had a great stay!

This hotel was very nice. We wanted to stay close to rock city to do last-minute vacationing. It was a nice end to our trip the staff was friendly the breakfast was good it met our needs. We would stay there again. It was nice not to have to go through traffic to get to get to the hotel.

When I first walked in, I thought oh boy and the reason for this was because of the lobby. It had old worn furniture that should be thrown away. First impression is very important. So I checked in and went to the room. The room was okay. Carpet could be cleaned or replaced. The sink facet was loose and could be replace, other then that the beds were very comfortable and the funiture was in nice shape. I booked my room from a travel site and it should that the hotel had a indoor pool and jacuzzi. THERE WAS NO JACUZZI!

This hotel is a good price, and there's reasons why. After a 9 hour drive, we checked into a room that was hot, had a stink bug on the curtains, and was on the fourth floor- the smoking floor, which I paid for a non smoking room. After a restless night, because the a/c kept turning off, I woke up to see an ash tray on the night stand. This room was obviously a smoking room. The breakfast was not good. Along with all the other problems, the fan did not work, the comforter had stains, and the free wifi wouldn't connect.

Everything was fine except they did not have a hot tub. The pictures clearly showed a hot tub but the hotel explained that it had been removed quite some time ago. That was one of my main criteria in picking a hotel so I was very disappointed.

We only booked this hotel because everything downtown was booked. It's not that far to downtown and is easily accessible from I-24. They put us in a smoking room and you could tell. Heard other guest talking about "the smell" in the hotel. Found bugs in the room. Air worked, but you couldn't get the fan to work. It was very uncomfortable. Desk person was rude and not willing to help. Breakfast was OK but you had to heat everything up. Will not stay here again.

I booked two rooms and requested non smoking. When we checked in the lady said that I requested one non smoking and one smoking. She would not change the smoking room to a nonsmoking room saying she did not have any available. Later walking through the lobby we observed her give a non smoking room to someone who did not have reservations. Inside the nonsmoking room there was an odor and we had to use the favreeze we purchased for the smoking room. We wipes the chair down in the smoking room and the rag turned brown right away. Carpeting was torn in both rooms.

Clean room... good location... good prices.. walking distance to walmart..

We had a good experience at this hotel. The only complaint would the beds are a bit too firm for my liking.

good breakfast, room clean, bathroom a bit old, friendly staff

I traveled to the area with my parents (80 and 81 years old). We enjoyed it a lot. the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Had hot eggs and waffles, coffee and usual cereal, toast, muffins, etc. The only negative was that the halls were hot, but considering it was 103 the days we were there it is no wonder. the room was older but the bed and room were very clean and bed was so soft! We had 2 queen beds and an extra room with a sofa bed. great for traveling with family. We would stay here again. Easy off interstate 24 and easy to downtown Chattanooga, TN and Lookout Mountain!

We picked this hotel because it had a hot tub for my mother who has bad knees, but the hot tub did not work. The hot tub's water was hot but the jets did not work. Shower head had different settings but could not be adjusted. We bought microwave popcorn from the vending machine and p ut it in the microwave and the microwave did not work. After 40 seconds the bag of popcorn started smoking and filled the room with smoke. I opened the window on the forth floor and there was no screen. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We did sight see at Rubt Falls, did the incline railway and Rock City. The location was great. The attractions were close and the traffic was not a problem such as noice and hard to move. To compare with other trips this was not my top pick but it was not the worst.

We enjoy staying at this Baymont in every few years since we spent our Honeymoon there 12 years ago. The location is great, and you can't beat the amentities for the price. I only had one complaint this trip. We put the Do Not Disturb sign out so we could sleep in. Instead of the maid knocking, they called at 9:30 a.m. to see what time they could clean the room. So not only did they wake us up, we felt obligated to get up and get out of the room. Otherwise, the stay was great. The rooms are super quiet and the staff is really nice.

Parking lot way too small, night counter person sucks with customers--must hate job? rooms not clean, hotel not clean at all. don't stay there spend a little more money stay right up road at Hampton Inn.

Had minor difficulties with this hotel i.e. the toilet seat was broken but the hotel staff was accomodating and changed our room. The pool was always crowded. Have to ask for towels for the pool and our room. There was not enough seating in the pool area either. There are not many dining out options close by either. Walmart however is right behind the hotel.
