Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Beds in room are comfortable as is bedding. Nice bathroom setup for a family with sink outside the room with bath and toilet. Great view of the river from room. Couch and chair for extra seating/lounging in room and really nice modern decor. Great common areas including lobby seating and bar area. And the best part courtyard with fire pit that overlooks the indoor pool area. Adults could enjoy the outdoors while having a drink while kids swam under watchful eye. Great location. We walked nearly everywhere we wanted to go throughout the city. Great walk across pedestrian bridge to City Park. Also enjoyed nearby Pucketts restaurant, Duck Tours and Ignis Glass Studio. We booked with a free breakfast package which allowed us to order an entree each morning from attached Starbucks which was filling and our coffee was then free too!
This hotel is in a great position not far from the river and very easy for transportation around Chattanooga. My husband and I arrived early and our room was ready. We had booked a corner room with balcony. We had a great view of the river and the baseball stadium especially for the fireworks on Friday night. Our room was spotlessly clean but the bathroom badly needs updating especially when we had arrived from a brand new Courtyard hotel in Somerset, Kentucky. Car parking was in the car park next door which was very convenient. The hotel is very handy for restaurants, the aquarium etc. We would stay at this hotel if we come back to Chattanooga
Very convenient to all of the downtown restaurants and attractions. Parking is in the adjacent building but short walk with elevator. Great area for quick breakfast and Starbucks coffee for business travelers with TV and newspapers, which opens at 6AM. Felt comfortable walking around hotel area at night by myself. Lots of tourists and families.
Spent the night here when passing through Chattanooga with the family. The hotel was clean, the decor was nice, and it had some good amenities such as bar, a bistro, and a workout room. The staff was fabulous and helpful, even upgrading us to a larger corner with a balcony room for free.
We didn't realize there was a festival going on when we booked the room. Needless to say we would have stayed somewhere else. (Word to the wise- the festival goes on for a couple of weeks.) Most of the roads near the river were closed and it was very difficult to even get near the hotel. Finally we found the entrance to the parking garage - the sign has the hotel name. We drive up the spiral ramp in my large SUV (harrowing) and when we get to the top, the attendant tells us to go back down the ramp (see previous description) and park on the sidewalk (remember that festival?!) and go into the hotel and get a parking pass. She wouldn't budge, that was the only option. So, I bust a UTurn in my Tahoe, pray all the way down the ramp, drive through the barricade, explain to the police that I have to get a parking pass, shimmy through the mass of people waiting to get into the festival, park on the sidewalk, and go into the hotel. I checked in and the front desk guy said he was frustrated with the parking attendant too and that she was frequently rude. He gave me the coveted parking pass. I went back to the sidewalk, did another Uturn through the throng of people, nearly hit the people selling potty passes, drive back through the barricade, make my way up the ramp, where I show the girl my parking pass and she isn't content to just SEE it on the dash, she has to inspect the date. Once I get through we have to go all the way to the very top to find a parking place. After all of this, the garage isn't even attached to the hotel, you have to walk through a breezeway the buses use, down the sidewalk to the hotel. It's pretty ridiculous. Our room was average, needs to be updated, and honestly the hotel was a little smelly. I will say the shower had good water pressure.
We were more than pleasantly surprised with our room. We got a great rate for a large room with a couch and king sized bed. We overlooked the Aquarium and the river front. The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean and well kept, we highly recommend this hotel.
The location was perfect for our anniversary get away! Everyone on the staff from the front desk, bar and housekeeping were super pleasant and seemed to take pride in their work. The grounds, common areas and our room was clean and comfortable.
As a frequent traveler, I can honestly say Stuart is one of the best hotel bartenders I've had. He's extremely personable and a great guy. He was helpful and made great drinks. I would definitely recommend you visit him during your stay!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, celebrating our anniversary . Staff was great, especially Michael at the front desk, so friendly and helpful. We stayed on the 6th floor, in the larger corner room with the balcony over looking the river. Very spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Two Plug ins at bed side for my and my husbands c pap machines that both fit on the bed table, no need for extension cords. ( important to c pap users ) Room has a small refrigerator, no microwave, but there is a microwave in the lobby , but we didn't need it. View from the balcony was nice. Could see the river, and aquarium. Love being next to the electric shuttle, could go so many places downtown without having to move the car. Parking garage for the car, right next to hotel is $10.00 a day, they will add it to your room bill. Parking garage felt safe as well as the area around the hotel when out walking. Well lite at night. Would definitely stay here again !
BEST BARTENDER EVERRRRR!!!! She made this really good coconut thing. She is so nice and defiantly deserves a raise. She also has great interpersonal skills. She is going to be the CEO one day. What a cool chick!
