I stayed here to attend a Panthers game and was very impressed with the hotel. It’s clearly been renovated, the look of the common areas and rooms was great and very clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Hotel also has a great location!

My wife and I stay have stayed here for the past three years around Thanksgiving and the staff is always helpful and friendly 110%. This trip was about 10 days, so it was good to have a great staff who remembered our needs. Happy holidays to them all.

I have stayed here many times and the breakfast person is always very helpful and friendly. I think her name is Jane. I have seen her handle a large group with a smile and if something needs to be refilled she gets right to it.

We recently travelled to this hotel in late October---check-in was straight forward , quick and easy. The front desk person was friendly and very helpful. The room was well equipped with a large fridge and some utensils for light meals. The two queen beds were very comfortable with pain-free mattresses and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was small and poorly lit but it had the mandatory towels, shower shampoos and a small bathtub---very sufficient for our needs. The area is safe and has easy access to the main highway. The breakfast was great with lots of options with a variety of cold and hot foods. I would definitely stay here again.

Our 2 queen bed room on the first floor was a clean, quiet updated room. We were able to park our car right outside an entry door, which was handy for unloading and reloading our car. The breakfast in the lobby was very good: hot scrambled eggs, waffles and pancakes freshly made, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, donuts, muffins, fruit, etc. a restful night stay for our road trip. We wish there had been more floor space in both the sleeping area and our bathroom, however. Both were on the small side. For 3 adults it was a bit tight.

I stayed here for business and was very impressed with this hotel. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in answering all my questions. The hotel was clean and very modern. Restaurant in the lobby was a convenient place to sit and work or BYOB in the evening and the free breakfast had plenty of options for me. It is conveniently located right off exit 18 on 77 and 10 minutes to downtown Charlotte for my daily meetings. I look forward to staying here next time I'm traveling to Charlotte.

Recently spent the night here at the Charlotte Northlake Fairfield Inn and it was okay. The room was a bit on the small side for a Fairfield - no separate sitting area and a bit outdated/stale smelling. The bed linens (pillowcase) actually had a rip in it and I was surprised to see that someone had thought it okay to use it. The outdoor pool in the back of the hotel was quite nice. Breakfast was average. Highlight was water and coffee in the lobby at all times. It's always a nice touch to be able to have a cup of coffee when you arrive to your destination. Overall, easy to find from the highway, not much around the hotel, but clean and comfortable for an overnight.

We stayed one night as we were fighting traffic after the eclipse. We arrived late and looked forward to sleeping in. A knock on the door in the morning didn't help that hope. The housekeepers also talked quite loudly. We got up in time to just get the last breakfast service. It was adequate.

The great thing about chain hotels is that they are all the same. This is a Fairfield Inn - the budget hotel for Marriott. It's exactly the same as every other Fairfield I've stayed in, which is to say it is perfectly average. For $100/night I got exactly what I wanted: a clean comfortable room, free wifi, free hot breakfast, a swimming pool. This is an off the Interstate hotel and this is what you want in an off the Interstate hotel. With that said, I could hear the traffic on the interstate quite clearly. The AC was working fine but smelled incredibly musty. Otherwise, nice bed, great pillows, clean bathroom. The outdoor pool was great. The hot breakfast really nice. Hot coffee was available in the lobby at all hours. Staff were very nice and helpful. While located off I-77 it was a bit of a pain to leave the hotel to get back on the highway. Anytime you are required to do a U turn to leave or enter the hotel is not a good thing. Close to a mall and other shopping plazas as well as restaurants and gas stations. Overall, perfectly average.

The main positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the front desk clerk (I think her name is Raven) was very pleasant and did her best to address the issues. They seem to have a lot of problems - from AC not working properly, poor housekeeping, internet issues, etc. We requested extra towels ahead of time and did not receive them - had to call down and Raven brought us some. The internet was not working - again called down and she said she'd look into it - she did and gave me a number for tech support I had to call - problem fixed. There was some alarm going off in one the rooms near ours - again, called down - she came up and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, the issues that could not be fixed or were just unpleasant to deal with were the AC being very noisy, the unit not shutting off and the room smelling damp and musty. Housekeeping did not make up the room the first day prior to my return at 3:30 PM so I told them to forget about it, the second day the bed wasn't made - just sort of pulled the covers up; the garbage pails were emptied but left in the middle of the room; fresh towels were not left - only a clean washcloth and bathmat. The refrigerator was also very loud and made a clicking noise. The breakfast room was uncomfortably warm and the only fresh fruit offered were apples that were wrapped in plastic wrap (not very appealing). There's lots of other Marriott properties to choose from - will definitely try a different one next time!
