I was here for a week-long business trip, so while I was staying alone and didn't need much by way of extras I still wanted a nice place to sleep with a comfortable bed and nearby conveniences (restaurants, shopping). I liked my room very much - the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet (even the night when the place was packed with teenagers), and I especially appreciated having a microwave and mini fridge in the room. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so it was perfect for business travel - the last thing you want to have to do after a long day in the office is to drive too far for much of anything. Will stay there again.

Stayed here while visiting family in the area. I used the mobile check in option and I got a text when my room was ready (love that!) Check in was quick, room was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and there wasn't any road noise despite the hotel being close to the road and 71. Breakfast was your usual Fairfield Inn flare but the attendants both days were pleasant, friendly and kept all the options filled all the way till the end of breakfast. The hotel is close to a few dining options across from North Lake mall. The closest things I found was a Jack in the Box and a Waffle House. Kudos to the night auditor for helping with the batteries in my tv remote. I wanted to watch some tv before I fell asleep but the batteries in the tv remote were dead. It was late so I just walked to the front desk and the night auditor not only brought the remote back with new batteries but he also got me a complimentary snack from the pantry. Chocolate fixes everything! In all a good stay, friendly staff and good suburban area.

Clean always first class service from staff. Not being snooty but I typically stay one tier above this level but this property accommodates guests above and beyond- clean friendly and always ready to help! Customer service is very alive here and I LOVE IT!!

To road warriors, consistency is king and the hotel staff is the key. The hotel is simple, modest, well kept, clean and functional. The staff keep it that way. I noticed the mini fridge wasn't cold and left a note. It was replaced the next day and left a big thank you note. The location is close to a large number of restaurants, convenience stores and I 77. My client was 5 miles away. I've stayed 4 weeks here so far.

As a member of the frequent guest program we have been to many Marriott hotels from the JW to Saints & Sinners. Unfortunately this one doesn't meet those basic standards that we have come to expect from Marriott. First, the sink outside the bathroom leaked. We woke up with water all over the counter. The toilet didn't work properly and when we brought it to the attention of the the front desk instead of getting maintenance to look at it, they handed us a plunger and had us try and fix it. On top of all that nonsense the blanket on the bed was very thin and there was no other blanket in the room to put on the bed. As a result of this nonsense we decided not to stay as long as we planned to and went to another place instead. It may be best to ignore this location and find someplace else to stay.

Yes, fairfields are a chain, but a chain doing it right. Rooms are clean neat and comfortable. They also seem to have figured out how to heat and cool a room without the sound of a 737 landing in your room. If you travel a lot you know the sound and Fairfield has silenced it Breakfast is much better than any other chain and if you arrive late in the evening they also have a mini buffet for you. Bed hard and uncomfortable. We like a cold room but could not get it cold enough. Nice decor, clean, convenient to interstate. Took this place over others because it offered breakfast. It was very quiet. We were very pleased with the handicap room other than uncomfortable bed.

We were driving back from the beach and wanted to take in a movie, but didn't feel like driving the rest of the way home afterward so we checked in to the Fairfield. They had a nice room available. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Reasonable bathroom. Check in staff, housekeeping, and the breakfast staff were all pleasant and polite. The 12:00 check out time was nice too. The price was right and we continued on our journey the next morning refreshed.

We booked this hotel as a stop from a road trip and we weren't that impressed. The front desk girl seemed friendly and asked what we were doing in the area, I thought she was just making small talk until it showed up underneath our name on the bill! I'm not sure if Marriott uses that information to get a feel as to what type of guests they are getting most or what, but I didn't like that. The elevator is slow. Whoever designed this hotel must be color blind because the carpets and paint (especially in the hallway) don't match at all and are hideous! When we stayed, we had to move rooms because there was a guest with one room between who kept screaming and cussing. Both rooms were frigid when we entered and we actually had to turn on the heat in the middle of Summer, but whenever you do that it smells like you're going to burn the hotel down. Both rooms and bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was okay, typical continental, nothing really healthy but okay for being free. The internet was very slow, I tried using both the Password protected network with our room number/info as well as the lobby Wifi.

First let me say that I checked in to find I was the guest of the day!!! What a great thing to find after a long car ride. When I checked it there was a problem with my credit card , as I was trying to call the bank and get things figured out the front desk employee( Whose name I forgot--sorry) was super nice and talked with the manager and they let me pay for the room right then and there with cash. That was above and beyond what I would have expected as I had town tired and hungry kiddos with me. The room was clean and nicely appointed with two queen beds and a pull out sofa so all of us had our own beds to sleep in. Breakfast was great as it had something each one of my kids liked, from waffles to biscuits and gravy. Fresh fruit and juice and coffee were great for mom too! We swam in the pool that night and in the morning, it was clean and tidy as well. This will be the only hotel I stay at whenever I visit the Charlotte area.
