Booked a long weekend at Zero George for our wedding anniversary at the suggestion of a friend. It far exceeded expectations. A beautiful historic property centrally located in downtown Charleston with courteous, top-notch staff, complimentary gourmet breakfast and afternoon wine & cheese make this one of the best hotel experiences we've had in decades of international traveling. Highly recommend!

Zero George Street is the epitome of Charleston's charm. The property is beautifully quaint. We made great use of the porches and having breakfast everyday in the outdoor courtyard and wine and cheese every evening on our patio. We were so thankful that we chose to stay at Zero George Street, it was perfectly located to walk the city and also, we used their bikes many times as well to tour around. Your expectations will only be exceeded with your stay at Zero George.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Zero George last week. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was incredibly accommodating and even gave us a brief tour of the grounds so that we knew where we were going. Our room was spacious and clean with beautiful furnishings and amenities. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well as the wine & cheese served each evening. We will definitely return to Zero George on our future trips to Charleston!

Beautiful hotel, with character. Stylish, tranquil, great food and amenities. The only thing missing, particularly for an August getaway, was a pool (Charleston get crazy hot). I am sure any other date you wouldn't even think about it. Gorgeous place.

Best hotel in Charleston, and my wife and I have stayed at nearly every hotel in the HD. Nearly flawless. Rooms were perfectly suited to a couple, not too large and not too small. Bathroom OK size. Furnishings were top tier and made the room a gem. Staying at Zero George is halfway between staying at a B&B and a full service hotel. You definitely have a full service hotel at ZG, but with a homier and more community centric vibe. Staff goes out of way to help. My only "tip" or caution would be that, for a first time Charleston visitor, it is a tad on the fringe of the HD. It's a good 10 minute walk in either direction to find "the action"--i.e., East Bay/Market/King/etc. For someone who knows the city well, this is a great location (easy walk to Harris Teeter, for instance).
