Very clean, perfect size, pet friendly, BEAUTIFUL views of marsh and huge backyard with beautiful oaks, fire pit and dock to sit on. Pictures on website don’t do it justice.

I would definitely recommend. Everything needed was there. The views are incredible. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning. We caught crabs off the dock. I saw schools of red fish but did not catch any. We saw dolphins hunting in and around the marsh grasses. Grocery stores are a couple minutes away. We ate at Ellis Island Fish camp. Everything was delish. I had a fried grouper sandwich and the best frog legs I've ever had. Keep in mind the dock does not have deep water at all times. when the tide goes out it's very shallow. If you set out a box trap for crabs, throw it out as far as you can otherwise it will be completely exposed. It worked for us though. We caught fat heavy crabs. I also loved just looking in the water. When the tide starts going out you can see lots of small shrimp coming out of the marsh grasses right under the dock. There is also a bonded pair of eagles that came to a tree on the property everyday. If you enjoy looking out over the Low Country, this place is for you. I loved everything about it.

Great location for easy quick travel to areas to visit. Beautiful quiet place. Mornings on the front porch having coffee just taking in the view was so relaxing. My sister and brother in law joined us. Plenty of room for us all. All the amenities you needed were available. Host was very accommodating. I would definitely refer this property to others.

Beautiful View and Relaxing

From the time I booked our stay to after we checked out everything was perfect. Many times before check in I had questions for the Host and my questions were answered quickly and accurately. Once we checked in we had everything we needed and everything was clean. If we are in the Charleston or Folly Beach area again we will definitely stay here.

Christmas with Family

This property was the perfect extra room for our Christmas Family gathering. We were 5 minutes away from our family and had all the comforts of home. The sunrise and sunset on the water was such a gift. Thank you for a great place to create memories. We’ll definitely be back.

2nd Time & Have Loved This Place Both Times

This was our 2nd time staying here & without question this is the best VRBO experience we have had BOTH times! Everything from the property to the host to the communication to the amenities are top notch. The host is super flexible with check out times & we never want to leave here! As if the charm of Charleston isn’t luring enough on its on, this plantation style home on the wetlands is a destination on its own. We were greeted by the personal drive, an escape from the near by destinations. We loved using the backyard for sunset photography, and evening laughs. The host was quick to reply, and anticipated our needs, even down to easy to forget toiletries. The location offers an off road private feel, while keeping you close to everything you’ll want to visit/do!

Family Vacation

The home was perfect for our family of 6! We had enough space to sleep comfortably, hang out together inside and enjoy the beautiful lawn and marsh water outside. The property was secluded enough for a special family time but close enough to the beach and restaurants and tourist attractions to make for a wonderful vacation!

Relaxing Gem

This location was beautiful and after 15 years visiting Charleston this is the most relaxing of any prior places we have stayed. Felt very comfortable and almost like being at except with a water view. The environment felt very safe. I slept on the deck one night watching night and day arrive, beautiful. The one issue we had the host corrected very quickly, The kitchen are was beautiful and very funny. We will go back. I definitely recommend as it is a very peaceful location yet close to beach great restaurants and downtown Charleston.

Definitely a gem!

Waterfront Gem was just that, “A Gem”. This place is absolutely beautiful! It was such a beautiful, tranquil vacation home. Very clean, and spacious. The owners paid attention to every little detail and an abundance of everything you needed there at your fingertips. Great communication, and easy check in and check out. Definitely will be back!
