Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

We enjoyed our stay at Sabal House! The house was clean, well equipped, spacious and in a great location. We walked to King Street and other shops area the area. We were in town for SEWE and we able to get to all the events easily!

Friends Getaway weekend

Lodging was great! Very comfortable, the location was near downtown and surrounded by neighborhood restaurants. We did not rent a car as walking or taking an Uber was more convenient and actually more economical. The home was very clean, beds were extremely comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The home is on a fairly busy street and noise was sometimes a problem when sleeping. The rooftop patio was ok and 2 full bathrooms of the 4 were very small. We would definitely book this home, again...

Pro. Nice place. Clean. Very much as pictured. Enjoyed stay. Con: Parking. The house sleeps 8 easily. Parking does not accommodate a full size suv or truck. If two vehicles or large vehicle is required parking space inadequate. On street or paid parking at a garage is required. Unfortunate for such a nice space. If ample parking would have given a five.

Great house for multi generational group

Nice house, man living area is a bit small for the number of people the house sleeps. Great that every bedroom has a private bath, but some of the bathrooms are very small and contain a tiny sink which was a little difficult for some. Location is not great, had to walk quite a ways to get to the nicer area of the downtown.

Great House!

Wonderfully updated house—perfect for four couples! Could have used more bath/hand towels, more bath soap, more dishes and cooking utensils for larger groups. Parking worked for us only because we all drove in one van—parking behind the house is tight and parking on the street is very limited.

Great place for four couples

The interior of the property is represented quite well in the pictures. The location is great, and the neighborhood was quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and everything looks new. I would recommend stocking the kitchen with a few basics such salt and pepper. I would recommend a blow dryer for each bathroom as well. The parking lot is very tight and the house only has one assigned space. Parking is not avaliable on the street. There is a small separate unit in the back which is not part of the house and another small building on the back of the parking lot which is not pictured. There are many places which are convenient to walk to and uber and lyft was reasonable for every where else we went in the city. Would we stay there again? Yes. It was more economical than hotels rooms of the same quality and we spent lots of time together in the common living space.
