We love this home away from home. We love everything about this rental. Hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with. House and property are immaculate. House is spacious with all the amenities you would need. Property is large. Fenced in yard if you have pups. Outdoor deck with fire-pit, tv, grill and comfortable furniture to hang out. Location is a plus. Everything you may need is right around the corner. Groceries, dining out and gourmet bakery. Beach is a short drive as well. You can’t go wrong here. This was our 3rd time renting. Will be back. Thank you Mike and Heather

This house was great for our girls trip to Charleston. It was located a quick 10 minute car ride or uber from downtown. The town of Avondale was very cute. Coffee shops, antique stores, wine and cheese bar, restaurants, etc were just around the corner and able to walk to. The neighborhood was very cute with a beautiful church across the street. The house was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and a FANTASTIC covered patio. We loved hanging out on the patio in the evenings. It had a fenced in yard which we all said would be perfect had we brought our kids. The hosts were both so pleasant and helpful with questions we had. They also were extremely accommodating for our late flight that turned into a canceled flight. Thanks to them we did not have to sleep on an airport floor :) I would love to come back and bring my toddler. Charleston was fun!

This is honestly one of the nicest VROB rentals that we have ever stayed in. The house was amazingly gorgeous and incredibly clean. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful as well, but within walking distance to a few restaurants and stores. Highly highly recommended!

This home provides comfortable, "tucked away" feeling both inside and out. It has a vintage bungalow vibe and has thoughtfully updated throughout. The interior design esthetics and accent pieces made it feel like home versus a few rooms to be used. We did encounter a minor problem with the shower fixture, but the host was very responsive in addressing it. Our only suggestion is to consider improving the comfort of the couch in living room. Overall this is an excellent property for both short and longer stays in the Charleston area.

Loved this place!

This location was perfect! We could walk to eateries and we were 15 minutes from our son. We travel a lot and this is one of our new favs! The house is super clean and has special touches( plush towels, chocolates, fresh water, a notecard and Charleston magnet, freshly cut grass, and the list goes on) to make you feel welcomed. A deck for cornhole and fenced yard for dog. Neighborhood was safe and quiet!We will be back!

This house was very clean. The outdoor space was perfect for our grandchildren and pets to run around and explore. We needed a quick getaway for the 4th of July due the recent loss of our son n law. Your away from the crowds but close to it all, if you want to be. Booking was easy. The owners were very responsive before we booked our stay with a question we had. Southern Charm

From the moment we walked in, this lovely house felt like home away from home. Thoughtful touches like the owners' kind, handwritten welcome note, comfortable bed/ linens, indoor/ outdoor games, extra ice in the freezer, a wine chiller and pretty glasses - the owners thought of it all to make our stay amazing! The neighborhood was quiet and safe - we could walk to adorable local restaurants, take a quick ride to downtown Charleston, or drive to Folly Beach to relax. Our family loved staying here and hope to return again soon!

Avondale Retreat

Wonderful vacation home to get away from it all! Outdoor covered patio with ample comfortable seating and dining area, outdoor TV, and fire pits as well as large tree shaded yard that is fully fenced. This dog friendly home is well equipped inside with comfortable beds, large closets, luxury towels and linens, and open kitchen and dining area with large center island/counter and chairs. There was a 75” smart TV in living room and quaint private sitting area on the front porch. A perfect retreat!

holiday getaway

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving here. Our son and young family live nearby and came over for the meal. Large kitchen worked well. The covered deck was a bonus for dining and entertainment. Grand dog loved the fenced backyard. Beautiful Charleston weather for walking and biking in the neighborhood and greenway. Owner very responsive to any questions!

Incredibly cozy and perfectly located

My wife and I stayed here with our sub-two year old daughter and it was perfect. Clean and modern, very comfortable, walkable to all the Avondale things and extremely convenient 5-10 minute drive to anything on the peninsula. We loved the outdoor couch, fire pit and TV at night. Would love to stay here again next time!

Lovely home in safe neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo rental! The home is within walking distance of several restaurants and a great little coffee shop all while being tucked away in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The backyard and covered deck were highlights, especially with the fire pit and TV—we enjoyed movie nights outside almost every night. The kitchen was beautifully appointed, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location across from a church means you’ll hear the bells, but you get used to it quickly. Our dog felt right at home, and we’d definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Charleston! Highly recommended.
