Charming and well appointed

My mother and I stayed in the carriage house with my daughters (13,11) over the winter break. The house is so charming and well appointed, providing everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in Charleston. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable and the garden area was so beautiful to look out onto. Would absolutely stay here again on a return trip!

It was so great to get away and relax in this charming city.

This carriage house was just perfect- we parked and never drove again. Everything is within 1 mile. There was an amazing coffee shop down the street that we went to every day, we enjoyed amazing seafood, did a walking food tour, took a boat tour for some Charleston history- it was the perfect getaway. This place was home away from home.

Gibbon House was a perfect location from which to explore Charleston. Many things were within an easy 15 minute walk in either direction. It was also easy to get to Shemms Creek, Sullivan's, Foley, and Sullivan's Beach.
