This is a charming 3 bedroom 2 bath elevated home located right in the middle of the Island, “Barefeet Retreat” is situated on a quiet street, just a short walk to direct beach access paths. Enjoy an open floor plan and cottage decor that features a 65-inch flat screen tv in the living room, large bedrooms, a queen sleeper sofa, a comfy little sun room and a lovely screened in seating area on the back porch.
The first floor boasts a queen bedroom with shared bathroom, spacious kitchen with gas stove and wall oven, laundry room, open living area, dining room that seats ten, sunroom and breakfast area with easy access to the screened in porch for enjoying warm breezes.
Head upstairs and you’ll find the master bedroom with a king poster bed and 55-inch flat screen tv, another bedroom with two queen beds and a large bathroom for both rooms to share, complete with separate shower and garden tub. Listen to the ocean from the second floor deck or relax on Island time in the Pawley’s Island hammock.
A wonderful family friendly home where the owners have been creating Island memories for years and wish the same for their rental guests! Linens and WIFI are included along with a Gas grill. NO PETS, NO SMOKING.
Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Beautiful vacation home with everything you need to have the best trip with friends and family. Decor is updated and beachy, kitchen is fully equipped, and tons of beach supplies are provided (except for beach towels). You can’t go wrong with this home and we can’t wait to come back!

Overall loved everything, some things to note, the realty company did not communicate through VRBO at all, but if you messaged them directly (through their website) they were extremely prompt. The house itself was awesome but loud, lots of open space and very few rugs. Wasn’t a huge deal, but sound machines would be helpful for little ones! We’ll be back!!

Relaxing beach house setting
Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and well decorated for a beach vacation. Close to the beach - 7 minute walk, lots of beach equipment to use, games for the kids, plenty of kitchen equipment to use and a washer and dryer. My kids loved the large bedrooms and full size beds! Close to the beach and very quiet neighbors. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at 3502 Hartnett. The beach was about a 10 minute walk but since our kids are bigger it was fine. I did find the layout a bit odd since the master is upstairs and shares a large bathroom with the kids' room which can sleep 4. Also there is one bedroom alone downstairs which is not the master, so we had to decide whether we felt comfortable to put my daughter there by the front door. All this is clearly in the description online. Otherwise the place was nice and clean. Kitchen is dated and the burners didn't all work but maintenance was very receptive when we called about the grill so they will likely fix the burners. Neighborhood friendly, not so quiet but it was ok.

Nice location in family friendly neighborhood
We picked this house primarily based on the size (needed 3 bedrooms) & the location which is just a short walk to the beach & a bit longer, but still reasonable to the park/playground. We were however disappointed with the upkeep at the property. The home needs some TLC in terms of interior updates & desperately needs a power washing outside. The property did offer all we needed for kitchen needs, beach gear & outdoor seating.

This is a great property. Plenty of room and natural light in the home. Lots of space for us to spread out. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs (pot/pans and dishes/tableware). As a woman who likes to do laundry before returning home the dryer would take two drying cycles to get your items dry. Updated appliances would make the task more efficient.

Fabulous Fall Break
We spent a week over Fall Break here and it was fabulous! Super clean house. The house is decorated so nicely with great attention to detail (e.g., extension cords by the beds for phone chargers, string lights on the porch). It truly felt like a beach getaway! We used the kitchen and the grill (even provided backup propane) for meals. The stove and oven were older but we had no issue cooking all planned meals! The kitchen was well-stocked and it was so nice to have a large pantry to store things. It may sound weird, but I appreciate nice matching dishes and not feeling like you get the owner's used and abused leftovers - this was definitely the case here. The walk to the beach was fine for us. Older guests may think it is long, but is is shaded and flat. A golf cart is definitely not a must! The shared bathroom upstairs didn't present any problems, but may take some coordination if you are staying with others ;) The shower is small, but not really an issue. There is a bench to sit on. Overall, we loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

Great Location, Great stay!
We booked our stay with island realty and really enjoyed the week at the beach! We spent a lot of time walking around the neighborhood and enjoyed several days at the beach, which is a short walk from the house. The house has a great layout for families with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked and I’m always happy to see a washer and dryer in a vacation rental! My family would be more than happy to book again at 3502 Harttnet!

3502 Hartnett is a wonderful vacation home a couple of blocks from the beach. Conveniently located to getting on and off IOP, to shops and dining. The house was clean, well stocked and roomy. This was a great house! Family rooms spacious and comfortable for all. Fully stocked kitchen. Bedrooms were gorgeous. Note: Only 2 bathrooms for 6-8 people. Will look for 2.5 the next time. Walk to beach was very easy. Loved the screened in porch - fabulous. The trees were gorgeous and made for beautiful breezes through the bottom floor. Only 2 suggestions: 1. None of the porch or beach furniture was cleaned for the summer. Everything still had dried leaves and dirt on them including the ones on the top sun deck. They should have been cleaned and ready to go for guests.2. We reserved for a week and were left 4 packets of machine dishwasher soap - not great customer service. I would rent again. PS to Island Realty: The lawn service guys were at the house and on the porch blowing leaves at 9:45 am on Saturday morning despite the clearly displayed noise ordinance. We're fairly patient people. Some folks would have been really upset. All in all, great house! The interior cleaning was excellent.

We stayed at the house on Hartnett for a few weeks to mix up our usual work-from-home scenery and could not have had a better time. This is a great property: only a few blocks walk beach access, quiet neighborhood, and well-put-together home. We found the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking, the living room to be extra cozy, and loved enjoying our morning coffee on the back porch. An A+ stay!
